Was sat close to the door. Constant wind blowing in. Was cold and had to keep getting up to close the door. Food was great and service good.

The food was amazing!! Everyone’s plates looked great. Our server ALEX was awesome. I never leave comments but I Alex was attentive, funny, made sure the food and drinks kept coming. We will definitely be coming back!!
Lot of gristle in the NY Strip Steak. A bit overcooked, requested very rare. Broccolini was cold to the touch. Potatoes were over salted. Service was slow. Table next to us waited even longer. Two if them decided to take theirs to go. Used to be better, unsure why the drop in quality and service.
The Vault is one of my favorite restaurants in Oregon! The food is always delicious and delivered in a timely manner by incredibly attentive and professional staff. My family, friends and staff look forward to dining at the Vault on a regular basis after meetings, work or when there is any reason to celebrate!
Alex was great! He made us feel welcomed and listened to, he made the cocktails we wanted and food we liked and our experience was great! Thank you Alex!
Good date night spot! Love the historic feel of the building and the pictures of old Albany on the wall. Service was ok, some of the food was better than the rest. It's pretty pricey, but you get a lot of food. Definitely a great spot for an event, not your typical every day dinner spot.
Since our 2 babysitters were not available, we decided to have our 7&9 year old girls join us for our anniversary dinner. We told them we were going to a fancy restaurant so they dressed up (and even snuck eyeshadow on). The staff was so kind and sat us in the small section at the back of the restaurant where minors are allowed. It was quiet but still lively and comfortable. Service was excellent and they made a couple adjustments to the menu to accommodate my 7 year old. The food was outstanding and plentiful as we all had leftovers for the next day. We split two desserts (cheesecake and creme brûlée) and my eldest said "this was the best dinner she has ever had" (burger and French fries). I loved the Sea Bass entree and the truffle oil pommel frites were an absolute hit. Vault 244 made the night memorable in every way! Highly recommend!
Overall good experience but right when we were finishing up the waiter came to our table and said they had a 7:30 seating for our table (it was 7:20 when we told us) and we felt rather thrown out - there was no apology or thank you for the business, we were just told to "go" in a more direct way than could have been done more softly/professionally. Anyhow, food was good and we sat by the fireplace as requested.
The interior is very nice with low lighting and a upscale feeling but the noise level, the "loud" employees giggling and chatting behind the bar, yelling to others across the room was not in keeping with how nice it could have been. The atmosphere called for calm professional speech, not yelling, loud laughter and loud socializing by the employees. The food tasted great but is stacked one item on top of another on a plate so small you cannot manage to cut and eat your food. For example broccoli piled on top of mashed potatoes and steak piled on top of the broccoli. If you don't want steak juice all over your potatoes your out of luck. I put some of my food on a clean plate sitting nearby so that I could separate things and eat without spilling it all over the side of my small plate. The food all tasted great and I thought the value was in keeping with good flavor and a nice interior. Our waitress was nice and fairly prompt but did not know the answer to any question we asked.... What light beers do you carry? What are your salad dressing choices? what is available for desert this evening. Each time we asked she grabbed menus and gave them to us for us to look up the answer to our question. This place should be very appealing and maybe it is to some but we most likely wont be back mostly due to the noise level which never subsided while we were there.

What a great place! Cozy, great food, and service was awesome! We were just passing through town and found this gem. Recommend trying.
We love the restaurants in this area of Albany and we’re excited to try this place, the ambience is lovely with a fireplace and prominent bar. However: it took approximately 1 hour from ordering to receive food. The menu was limited, but there were a variety of options. The waitress did apologize several times for the delay but the restaurant was not fully busy. Then we ordered dessert and were told they needed to make more cookies for the desert we wanted and it was again over an hour until the cookies came. My husband ordered a medium burger but it was coated in burned leftovers from the grill. My fish dish was just ok. Most of the plate was potatoes. Overall it was a 3 hour dinner. I likely won’t return and I would definitely caution anyone with kids or who doesn’t want a VERY leisurely paced dinner to avoid this door. Especially with so many other great choices in the area.
our server Tawnya did an excellent job, very professional . food and bar were both wonderful
Drinks were amazing, food was incredible, prices were excellent for the quality of the food. Valerie our server was kind, had great suggestions for cocktails, she was witty and just a delightful human. We are thankful we live very close. This will be our new favorite place. Well done!
