Wilhelm's Spirits & Eatery

We've been coming to this place for a couple of years, about twice a week, just us, or with friends. To eat and to play the machines. Until today, the people we came in contact with, who work there, were friendly, and very attentive. We've enjoyed the food and the service. Walking in we've always gotten a "hello ladies" "iced tea and soda?" And "will you be eating". Today, however, a girl we've never seen, and I think it's because we never go in on a Saturday, never said hello, never asked us if we wanted anything, just passed us by, and only spoke to the men. When she walked up to the man next to me she greeted him with "Hi whore". Then said to another patron, "yep he's a whore". I waiting for about 30 minutes and then said, "excuse me, could we get some service?" She said, she was the night manager and if we wanted to eat, we'd have to go to a table otherwise, we could our a drink at the bar. She was rude, and kept raising her voice. My partner said, "all we wanted was 2 drinks while we gamble." "For now". Then she said she would not wait on us nor would she let the other girl in there wait on us either. Then she ordered me off my machine and said I needed to leave. I told her as soon as I could get me money out of the maching, I'd be happy to go. She said, "No, go now". Again, I said as soon as my maching went through the free spins I was in and could cash out my money, I'd go. That wasn't' good enough and she asked me if I wanted to be socked in the face. The guy next to me was shocked. I have never been treated that way anywhere. I told her I'd be speaking to her boss and she said she'd been there for 5 years and he wouldn't do anything about it. Wow. Every other person we've encountered there has been wonderful and we've always tipped them very well. The person should not be working in any kind of public setting. Pat and I are in our 60's and 70's and know how to conduct ourselves. What a stain on this business. I was even threatened by a customer at the bar on my way out and she was fine with it.

Ordered the Ribeye Supreme but didn't receive it. Got a bacon with a little tenderloin(over cooked to well done when ordered medium rare) Very disappointed. Also ordered 2 Tri Tip grill sandwiches with meat medium rare. Tasteless overcooked tough meat that was not edible. Have eaten here many, many times and the food has always been amazing. Not this time.

Such good tots! French dip was decent. Au jus bland. But the burger was really good. Small spot, lots of TVs for sports, and video poker machines.

OMG, it was all delicious. I tried everything me and my friends had and it was so good.
We had finger steaks and mozzarella cheese sticks for appetizers. Main dishes were, chicken Fettachini, tri-tip steak sandwich, chicken fried steak and island sandwich. I had a taste of each and they rocked!

In the last 3 months my partner and I have been 6 times, no joke.

All food I have tried here has been excellent, top notch and sooo good.. Except the French dip. The meat was dry, bread wasn't great and the au jus was bland (you need a good au jus to make a really good French dip).

I've tried a bunch of other things.. including grilled sandwiches, fried shrimp, adult beverages, appetizers aplenty, etc..., but the best? Their Cajun tots, literally every time they're perfect.

Highly recommend this lil hole in the wall bar!

Parking: Small parking lot, I could see it being an issue if they're packed, but I've always found a spot each time we went.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are not allowed at all.

Parking: Plenty of parking, if you have a smaller vehicle, don't drink too much and back into the creek, when they're busy good luck parking

Great bar/restaurant, the food was delicious, great customer service, the waitress was friendly and courteous, great place to go for dinner or to have a few drinks with friends.

Came in with friends tonight for dinner and was served fantastic food. The shrimp po'boy was pretty close to authentic and I grew up in the south. (Need baguette instead of hoagie) But everything came out quick, hot, and delicious.

Kid-friendliness: Do not bring kids here. It's a full on bar/casino.

No hate to this place, food looks good, but there’s no mention that minors are not allowed in the building until you drive there.
