Good bartenders, good fun. The issue is they say online that they are open until 12, but will close around 10 if business is low. Maybe to keep customers from wasting their time, their hours should always have a note saying, "subject to change"

This is such a sad story! This was a great little local watering hole for the neighborhood. It had a great community vibe and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, they were bought by the owners of The Old Barn on Barbur Blvd a while back and it has just deteriorated beyond recognition. The wait staff is so very bad and extremely rude! They only cater to regulars and have absolutely no problem ignoring everybody else. We went for dinner last night and the floor waitress and the bartender were so concerned about who was going to get our tab that they both just walked away and neither of them helped us; apparently they don't share and could care less about customer service. We waited over 10 minutes for a glass of water and finally gave up. As we were walking out the bartender basically attacked us and literally started yelling at us about how they didn't know what to do with us (as if that was our fault)! I am genuinely sad to see such a great place go so wrong with new ownership. Goodbye Buddies - thanks for the memories!

Friendly local sports bar. Above average food w/ great specials! One of the few places of its kind that has halibut fish and chips. Service is very good. As expected the noise level can be high in the evening, but they do have a quieter booth area away from the bar if you want.

Love the food. And the service makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is more targeted for a boomer or older crowd. But.... really good Spanish coffee and did I mention the food is so good I'll get it to go. The staff are always amazing! Good breakfast too ?

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. Since it sold the food quantity has gone down hill and the prices went up. You order a burger and fries and you get like 15 fries. Portions have gotten smaller. My favorite waitress that have worked there for years are no longer there. That makes me sad. That’s why I would go in because they were so friendly and made me feel like I’m special and glad I would come in. So sad to see this place go down hill.
