Service was stellar here! But that's kind of all the credit I can give this place. I truly do not understand how everyone says it's the best Italian food in Beaverton? Across our full table, we had carbonara, lasagna (which they're supposed to be famous for???), a calzone, and a shrimp pasta. The food was flavorless; my partner and I even agreed that everything just tasted off, like it had gone stale. It's bland at best, hoping you'll ignore the lack of flavor by covering everything in cheese. Sure, the portions are VERY generous. But we honestly didn't even want to eat the leftovers. Sorry, but it definitely did not live up to the hype. Considering the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say we had a bad batch. But we unfortunately won't go back.

Nothing special about this places. It's been around for a long time and maybe that's why it gets busy. The food however is sub par. The last two times I've been in, it comes out cold. Not even luke warm but cold. They took it back to reheat TWICE and it still comes up barely warm. 90% of my large groups food was cold.Not a lot of flavor in dishes - lacks spice, salt, sauce etc.The portions are large and a good variety of sauces and dishes.Minestrone soups as very thick! Not my style. No idea why they have clam chowder on the menu.
Food was fantastic, service was even better. They had ran out of chicken before we were seated, and sauces shortly after that, but it did not diminish the quality of the food or the service. Portions were massive too

the pizza I ordered last month was not that great.
The place is cozy but we waited for our turn for 20 minutes and in the end they informed us that there were no longer any dishes that had chicken...
