First time , last time.. Made a reservation, poorly placed tables. Felt like I was sitting in the kitchen could hear the conversation amongst the staff while they were in the kitchen area. Table was placed in the middle of the floor. On display, Very awkward and uncomfortable for that menu price. Maybe a good lunch spot but not a place to have a nice dinner.

Its so nice to have homestyle yummy food. Thanks for sharing your gift. It was awesome… the stuffed mushrooms oh my❤️
It was a Friday evening, immediately felt uncomfortable. We asked if we could have a table and she said no we are full, we felt discriminated as we are a Mexican family. Will never return, They obviously cater to only Caucasian people only.

I ordered the pork scallopini. The Brussels sprouts, and the garlic mashed potatoes were cold. It was a birthday celebration so i didnt want to complain For $27 it was not a great meal nor a great experience. It was my first time there so I was greatly disappointed.
The review is going to come up under Madelyn I am Pam Sager my husband and I went to Filberts for the first time yesterday and the food was room temperature. Like it had sat to long and we had to ask for more water when we recieved the food. The waitress left the check and then disappeared and we waited and finally got up and asked the man at the bar if we could pay there he said that you pay at your table so he got someone to take care of it so we could leave. To expensive for not good service and not hot food.

I stopped by Filbert’s Farmhouse Cafe the other day and decided to give their bison burger a try. Honestly, it wasn’t anything to brag about. The patty was decent, I guess—nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. I would say it was flavorless at best. I thought it would be at least $22 worth. It came out a little dry, and the toppings didn’t do much to elevate it. The bun was fine, standard stuff. Service was okay, not particularly fast or friendly, just kind of there. The vibe of the place is cozy enough if you’re into that rustic farmhouse thing, but it didn’t make up for the meh burger. I’d probably try something else next time, if there is a next time. It’s not bad, just… not good.

It was nice inside, but it was too expensive for the lunch you got. I ordered dumplings. 3 lumps of over peppered dough sitting on a bed of VERY, lightly shredded chicken in broth. I also got an iced tea. I did not even feel full afterward. Also, they charge a percentage for using your credit card on top of the meal. Won't be back. 2 1/2 stars, actually.

The ambiance is quite lovely and the server we ended up with was personable and efficient, but the food was bland and the staff had an audible argument in our line of sight about who should be serving our table.

We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate a birthday in the family. The parking lot was good, a little bit tight. The staff were polite and helpful. The service was great , they even took photos with our phone for us. Wednesday night, they sometimes have prime rib ( not marbled with fat like a prime graded cut should be so might have been "choice " rib roast)and all the fixings. They have a large selection of wines that the relatives enjoyed. We are definitely going back again for the bread pudding and cheese cake.
The stuffed mushrooms are delicious. The rustic bread was good. The pot roast was good.

Solid 4.7 stars. Top- notch comfort cuisine, excelling in sourcing local area meats, produce, and wines, beers, specialty cocktails- Filbert bourbon. Excellent service, great ambience, views of trees and stream, try the clam chowder, porkchop, or the mushroom manicotti. Deserts, whoa - you may get it to go. Chocolate grenache covered cheesecake, or the bread pudding.
