This is probably the best shortbread I’ve ever had before. I bought some at the Highland Games last weekend and by day 2 it was gone. I couldn’t stop eating it. I had plain and lemon. Highly recommend both. 10/10
Maybe you changed the butter? Bought a box of traditional shortbreads again and there just isn’t the flavor I was hoping. I don’t mind the dryness but very bland. Probably won’t go back. Prices are extremely high for what you get.

The shortbread is really the best. I seek her out at markets just to buy it. Today we went to the tea house to get some and they just pulled sausage rolls out of the oven. Oh my goodness they were delicious. I am picky about sausage rolls and I will tell you these are 10 out of 10. A must try. Also the staff is very friendly.

The food was wonderful and so much variety! The dessert at the end was a cloud of meringue with cream and fruit and was sooooo good! They also have a store with all types of shortbread, ones I picked were peanut butter and millionaires, for home. They were wonderful! They had many mores flavors and wanted to try them all. The only reason I only provided 4 stars was the tea was not loose leaf and was bagged so not as big of variety or as much flavor as loose leaf and was of a variety found in grocery stores. Always love tea houses that have a good selection of loose leaf and always has more flavor and better quality. Other than that, would definitely recommend a visit, especially if you like shortbread! Worth the drive from Vancouver, WA!

What a great experience: homemade sausage rolls; shortbread to die for; tea and more. Recommend reservations for seating.

Such a delightful little shop! Fiona and her crew are making the best shortbread in the area! Bought my first bag at the Highland Games and had to make it in for High Tea! Lovely lovely! Recommended!

Amazing selection of savory & sweet shortbreads. Easily the best I've had. I'm excited to try the tea service.
Amazing Shortbread
Wonderful atmosphere, the staff were very kind and helpful, and the tea was amazing. Sitting in here in a cozy atmosphere, drinking tea and eating little cakes and cookies was really fun and relaxing. Make sure to bring friends that like tea and chatting!
Had such a good time at high tea! Tea was good, food was delicious. Friendly atmosphere
If you’re looking for a low-key, unpretentious high tea experience, this is the place! The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, making it perfect for a relaxed outing. The high tea tray is loaded with a variety of delicious sandwiches and pastries, offering something for everyone. There’s so much food provided that you definitely won’t leave hungry.
While the tea itself is decent (though nothing extraordinary), the shortbread is the real star—fresh, buttery, and melt-in-your-mouth good. They also offer a variety of gluten-free options, which is a lovely touch. The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming, adding to the authentic and warm vibe.
Don’t miss the chance to take home some of their phenomenal shortbread—it comes in a wide selection of flavors. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a simple, genuine high tea experience with amazing treats to match!
