During my stay at this hotel, I stopped into the bar/restaurant for dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.
Very impressive pork chop and carrot cake.
Very attentive and courteous staff— the chef also came out and spoke to us, which was cool. The man behind the magic pork chop.
The locals here go crazy for the Indian food too, which is served every day except Sunday.
All expectations surpassed with this unique restaurant connected to a large, multi-building Best Western hotel campus.
Also…the pork chop. So good.

We were using the car charger in the parking lot and went in to use the bathroom, so I can't speak to the food. However, this was such a strange place to enter. As soon as my wife and I were through the door, everyone in the bar (~6 men) turned to stare at us. No sound. It felt like we were interrupting a drug deal, a slave trade, or conference of foreign spies. Like a movie where the characters are doing something illicit and strangers walk in so they have to stop discussing until they leave.
We asked for the bathroom, and the bartender was friendly and smiled and pointed the way. My wife finished before I did and went back in the bathroom to wait for me. I came out and everyone silently stared at me again until she came out and we walked out together as everyone silently watched.
Weirdest, most uncomfortable atmosphere I've ever encountered in a commercial establishment.

Cranky Chef, but food was AMAZING. I could hear the chef yelling at the wait staff multiple times during our visit, using very colorful language. But my husband had said his steak was one of the best he’s ever had. All of our food was really good. So maybe you guys have something good going? Will definitely return when we visit Baker City again.

I’m a truck driver so I should know good food. I have one thing to say about this place absolutely mind blowing. I’ve eaten Indian food quite a number of times but never to that level. That is absolutely out of the ballpark super good. I always order two or three put them in the freezer And take them out on my next run. This is my last night before I get home. I absolutely love this restaurant. The management is absolutely amazing very accommodating. The only one thing that I could say is turn the lights down a little bit. I’m still sleepy when I get in there. An amazing place to eat love it never had a bad meal. I’ve had the American stuff too. Absolutely the best vegetables I’ve ever had in my whole life, hands-down with the chicken oh my gosh and anything on the Indian food I’ve ate and it’s all good every bit of it. This is a 10 if it was in Portland, there would be a line around the block every day seven days a week 12 hours a day, I guarantee it highly underrated highly underrated.
