Live the Sourdough bread & the breakfast 😋

Gary Heller

It's a cool place created from an old Pullman passenger car. The food is great and Sarah will tell you all about the history of the restaurant as well as the area (she's a native to the area). I ate there twice: once for lunch and again for breakfast. I highly recommend the plate-sized huckleberry sourdough pancakes!

The sourdough 🥞 were the best, because they use sourdough starter, compare to ones from other restaurants which have that subtle sourdough taste. I recommend you try their 🥞 which you'll want to come back for more. The owner is friendly, and would help you out if you have a spill, or you forgot something.
Update: the floor is not vacuumed 😕, and the room smells like mildew.

Good breakfast, I laughed at reviews that said they couldn’t finish it. Welp add me to that list. I did finish it an hour later, fyi.

We stopped in Baker city while just passing through. Stopped here before getting back on the road after seeing the loaded hash browns on google. All of the food was great. Only one other person there and server was super friendly and even helped entertain our 2 year old lol.

The people are absolutely wonderful, but you go to a restaurant for the food. The pancakes 🥞 were tough and not a lot of flavor. The meat for the dip sandwich was very tough and the bread was old. They serve you metal plates which are too small and terrible to eat from

Excellent food for a quick bite on your road trip! Burgers are cooked well and the portions are huge!

Stopped for a late lunch on our road trip. Delicious food, lovely service, large portions and all reasonably priced. Pick up a small loaf of sour bread to take with you (or eat there!) - it's out of this world delicious.

Great food, had the crispy chicken honey mustard sandwich for lunch today, it was amazing, cooked to perfection, and no shortage of fries, the bread was also amazing. The owner makes you feel like your a regular. I highly recommend this eatery. Just look for the 2 train cars. Got to love the Sour Dough.

Smelled really bad here! Like mold and BO (body odor)

The waitress was boisterous and kept talking very loudly about her cats.

The food was mediocre. Sourdough pancakes: Meh
Bacon: Delicious
Sausage: Blah
Eggs: Passible

Honestly, the smell and generally dirty appearance ruined the experience .

The bathroom was filthy 😳

We waited until 9:30 for the restaurant to open but no one ever arrived. Reading reviews, we're not the only ones. Update your hours online and post them on the door. This is a day 1, bone bones small business practice!
