☕ RayJen Coffee — Not Worth the Hype

Stopped into RayJen Coffee in Bandon hoping to support a local business, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown on multiple levels.
The coffee was mediocre at best — bland, weak, and overpriced. But what really left a bad taste wasn’t the coffee… it was the atmosphere. The energy in the shop felt uncomfortable and judgmental, especially for someone who doesn’t fit into a far-right mold. Let’s just say inclusivity doesn’t seem to be on the menu.
In a time when small towns should be coming together, it’s disappointing to see local businesses that appear more interested in pushing an agenda than serving everyone in the community with respect and kindness.
If you’re looking for quality coffee and a welcoming vibe, there are far better options along the coast.

It is a coffee roaster. I like a light roast. The owner, Netty said she rarely does light as it is hard to sell. She is right about that. My cousins loved her medium roast as did my wife. I also got a dark (French) roast for a friend. So nice to meet a professional roaster. Brandon is lucky to have one.

Absolutely amazing place! Come in to get a pound of a couple of dark roasts, I had no idea this was a roasting warehouse when google sent me there. Nevertheless, they showed me the roasting floor, and the roastmaster herself showed me around! She really knew her stuff, and got me the wholesale price for a 5-pound bag of a freshly-roasted dark blend that knocked my socks off it was so good. Perfectly balanced, and so fresh even my little bialetti spat out a full 1/4 inch of crema in my cup. I highly recommend a visit, but be nice and realize they're not typically a walk-in kind of place!

Spouse and I have been drinking RayJen coffee for 13+ years and have had it shipped to us everywhere we've been stationed in our military careers. Truly one of my very favorite coffee companies on the planet. Love this family business!
