What a fantastic find on such a beautiful sunny warm winters day. Everything was right. The staff, the atmosphere of the outdoor patio and firepit, the food, the beer, all of it...perfect. The wild mushroom pesto pizza was in reality the best I have ever had. They make their own dough and pasta from scratch and they know what they are doing! We will be back!
We didn't have a reservation for The Forge, but were able to get into the Tufted Puffin, which shares the same menu.INCREDIBLE food available here. For starters, the bread & butter served before your meal is easily the best I've ever had. SO fresh, and the garlic truffle butter is sooo good.We both had great meals. Loved this place and I don't even like golf! The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the view of the links is just gorgeous, and the food was delicious, if you're looking for something upscale but not formal check it out.
