Outpost On The River

An extremely pleasant outpost, seemingly in the wilderness, with excellent espresso drinks, we had French dip for lunch, delicious and a bit on the salty side for my taste.
An extremely delicious strawberry milkshake topped it off!

We stopped by for a late lunch and we're excited to see they serve breakfast all day. We had our pup with us and were seated on the patio with many other patrons with dogs. Resident security guard, Cooper (good ol' boy, chocolate lab) came by to say hi! Two in our party had breakfast and two had wraps. All the portions were huge, the food was delicious and the price for what is on your plate is reasonable. Everyone took home leftovers! Wait staff was attentive and treated us like family. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

My husband and I have been trying to get here for a year! We are so glad we finally made it! Everyone was so friendly, we even got to meet Cooper the sweetest lab (although he does require a french fry tax)! My husband was so excited they serve breakfast all day (he had a breakfast burrito - he had to put his hand in the picture to show how big it was!) and I had the BEST Club Sandwich of my life! Make sure you add this wonderful establishment to you MUST visit list!

10/10 Scenic drive along the Nestucca River. Breakfast served all day and a great lunch and appetizer selection. Great staff and great service. The surrounding View is beautiful.

Best club sandwich we've ever had!
An oasis of good taste in an outpost!

We love going to the Outpost On The River. The drive is beautiful, the restaurant is clean and homey, the owners and staff are all family. This is a true hidden gem! As a local, this is our favorite spot to sit outside with the heated tables, visit and have great food. We went this morning and it is like sitting around a campfire in the morning just enjoying the fresh air. Very much worth the trip!

What a great little restaurant. Great menu, great service and great food. We'll definitely be back. Huge portions.
