10/10 Scenic drive along the Nestucca River. Breakfast served all day and a great lunch and appetizer selection. Great staff and great service. The surrounding View is beautiful.
We love going to the Outpost On The River. The drive is beautiful, the restaurant is clean and homey, the owners and staff are all family. This is a true hidden gem! As a local, this is our favorite spot to sit outside with the heated tables, visit and have great food. We went this morning and it is like sitting around a campfire in the morning just enjoying the fresh air. Very much worth the trip!
Everyone was so nice and any staff that passed by our table stopped to check on us and see if we needed anything else. Beautiful flower arrangements all over the place for sale from their nursery up the hill. All family owned and ran and lived in the surrounding homes. The deep fried burger looked like a sausage patty burger. But we never heard of a deep fried burger so we had to try it.
