The cabins are great for getting off the road and connecting with the River for a night. This time of year, August, the sun set right across the river which was beautiful to watch from the little beach outside of the restaurant

We had an incredible experience at the River Lodge & Grill in Boardman! From the moment we arrived, the peaceful riverfront setting won us over. The views of the Columbia River are absolutely stunning, whether riding bikes along the paved trails, relaxing outside the cabins, or watching the sun set over the water, it felt like the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
The lodge itself is modern, comfortable, and welcoming. Our cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a family getaway. We especially loved having bikes available, it made it so easy to explore the property and ride right along the river.
The staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and enjoyable, and the onsite restaurant is a gem. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there, and every meal was fresh, hearty, and delicious. Sitting by the big windows with river views while enjoying a meal made it feel extra special.
What really stood out was how family-friendly the entire experience was. Whether it was biking, relaxing, or simply sharing meals together, we felt at home while still being on vacation.
We will absolutely be back. If you’re looking for a getaway with gorgeous views, comfortable lodging, great food, and the chance to slow down and really enjoy the Columbia River, the River Lodge & Grill is the place.

Such a surprising location & quality amenities. My cabin was clean, well anointed, comfortable, quiet, dog friendly & offered spectacular sunsets. I would definitely stay here again . It was alittle tricky to find the place coming from the north. Take the actual Boardman exit( not the frontage road)then turn towards the river(west).

Very kind staff at the front desk and at the restaurant. Very clean, beds were comfortable, and felt very safe. Sitting next to the river was kind of fun, and the restaurant was good.

My childhood friend and I met here for a mini yearly reunion, and we were very pleased with the River Lodge and the on-site restaurant. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and well appointed, and the food was good.

Stopped here on our way to raft the Grande Ronde to break up the drive for the kids. The hotel manager Gladis was truly so helpful. We accidentally booked the wrong room night and she gave us a full refund for our mistake. So happy she was there to help us and make our stay even better and more special. Thank you! Will stay again.

I stayed in one of the cabins. I arrived at the hotel a little before noon. They made no attempt to get my cabin ready early and at 3pm check-in were still cleaning. The cabins don't take 3 hours to clean they didn't even try.
Then I booked and paid through Expedia, while I was there the hotel cancelled it on Expedia so even though I paid over $200 for my cabin I don't get credit on my Expedia account. Really weird.
View is nice but the service isn't.

We checked in, had a terrific meal, and once back in our room our television wasn't working, the gal at the front desk tried to fix it and when that didn't work out set us up in a different room, she was very pleasant and polite, highly recommend services at this resort.
