Such a surprising location & quality amenities. My cabin was clean, well anointed, comfortable, quiet, dog friendly & offered spectacular sunsets. I would definitely stay here again . It was alittle tricky to find the place coming from the north. Take the actual Boardman exit( not the frontage road)then turn towards the river(west).

My childhood friend and I met here for a mini yearly reunion, and we were very pleased with the River Lodge and the on-site restaurant. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and well appointed, and the food was good.

Stopped here on our way to raft the Grande Ronde to break up the drive for the kids. The hotel manager Gladis was truly so helpful. We accidentally booked the wrong room night and she gave us a full refund for our mistake. So happy she was there to help us and make our stay even better and more special. Thank you! Will stay again.

I stayed in one of the cabins. I arrived at the hotel a little before noon. They made no attempt to get my cabin ready early and at 3pm check-in were still cleaning. The cabins don't take 3 hours to clean they didn't even try.
Then I booked and paid through Expedia, while I was there the hotel cancelled it on Expedia so even though I paid over $200 for my cabin I don't get credit on my Expedia account. Really weird.
View is nice but the service isn't.

We checked in, had a terrific meal, and once back in our room our television wasn't working, the gal at the front desk tried to fix it and when that didn't work out set us up in a different room, she was very pleasant and polite, highly recommend services at this resort.
Rooms: The rooms have a modern look with comfortable furniture and equipped with a standard TV, microwave, and coffee maker. However the rooms and hotel seem to be falling into a state of disrepair. The phone and a couple of lamps in my room were unserviceable. These rooms have poor lighting as is so having less working lamps made it less pleasant.
I had a double bed room and thankfully I did. One of the beds slightly reeked and the pillows needed to get thrown out. I slept in a less smelly one.
Food and drinks: The food here had me throwing up less than 10 mins after I started eating the burger I ordered. I spoke to the waitress who also informed the cooking staff. I’d like to say that maybe it was a bad night, but judging by the state of this hotel over all I’m not trusting how food is prepared here.

Has everything I love in a hotel—restaurant, 24 hour fitness room, beautiful nature views, walking path by the river, comfortable beds and pillows, easy room temperature control, an extra sink outside the bathroom, great shower with a tub, soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers, only 2 floors and easy access to stairs, easy check in.

As always, everything was great!
From here we visit Pendleton sometimes, but most of time enjoying The Columbia River Trail and the wonderful views! The river changes quite often!! It can go from glassy smooth to ocean like waves……………..It’s great, but if you’re enjoying the wonderful Park and Marina to go fishing- Watch wind forecasts. The Walleye and Smallmouth fishing ? is fantastic. You can go online to arrange a guided fishing trip.
We love this place! And our German Wirehaired Pointer …………Only place he’ll stay in Eastern Oregon ? By the way………”It’s Always Sunny “- Don’t Forget The Sunscreen!

The location is wonderful and the main lobby at check in is beautiful! Main lobby is updated remodeled and well decorated. Lots of games and bikes you can check out complimentary which is nice. Go across the street for pizza and a brew! Absolutely nothing to complain about until we got to our room as they are not the quality one would expect. Fair at best sort of cheap (great view though) and needing maintenance. The beds were clean but not very comfortable. Compared to anything else in town it’s a 5 start hotel but this is not a 5 star hotel. Update the rooms and make more luxurious and you get to 4 stars.
Rooms: Hard matress, shower didn’t work well, clean unit but lite stink oder in bathroom. The TV didn’t work well with remote and outside patio gas fire pits not working.
