Art was great, one if the best bartenders I've seen in a long time. Everyone around me seemed happy whether working or a patron. Usually go to hubbard inn and do happy hour but man this place is hard to beat. Food was really good and beer was cold. Lots of drink choices and big menu. Food was fast and good. It's usually one or the other. But here you get both. Again Art was a great server/bartender.

We came here on a whim... SOOO GLAD WE DID. Food was great, atmosphere was so inviting and friendly and Art, the bartender, was FREAKING AMAZING. Best by far. We will be back.

Always a great lunch with a nice brew at Backstop. A Tuna Melt and fries and a Backstop Ciabatta (turkey & bacon) and tots with a Deschutes Black Butte stout and a Pelican Hazelnut brown ale. So good and always friendly staff.

First of all, the food sucks. I got a cheese quesadilla - when it came, kids meal (I ordered off the adult menu), all the cheese instantly fell out… it was basically flavored rubber in a tortilla. It also came with rice(?) that was the equivalent of cat food fused with fart spray. The refried beans were the driest and most bland beans ever… My Mom & Dad got the Brisket Dinner and said it tasted horrible and was probably sitting in a crock pot for 2 days. If you’re looking for dog food, come here 😑

Backstop is definitely the place to go for lunch or dinner in Canby. Excellent food! My favorite is their seasonal harvest salad. No matter what you get on their menu, you can’t go wrong. Their service is wonderful too! We always take our out of town guests here. We love Backstop!

Nice nice place to eat. Waitresses were smiling and friendly. Had a 2 and a 4 year old very kind to the girls. Good food lots of choices for breakfast. Would go there again and recommend it.
