So my girl and I figured we'd try something new and local to the area last night. We were going through the options and landed on Joy Kitchen, but now I wish we had just gone somewhere else. I got a dinner combo #3 which had the beef broccoli, fried shrimp, pork fried rice, and bbq pork. The rice was ridiculously dry and flavorless. It LOOKED decent but was extremely underwhelming. The bbq pork honestly tasted like the just served me honey ham and glazed it with their sauce. The broccoli was crisp but the beef tasted like it was literally just fat chunks with sauce on it. The shrimp was subpar at best. The lady at the counter was very confrontational when I placed my order, but then super nice when I picked it up. So it was very confusing to tell if she was just rude or having a lot going on at the time. The atmosphere was cute though. I'm sure if I had sat down to eat it would've been a quaint little environment. My girl got sweet and sour chicken with a side of vegetable chow mein as well. The chicken breading was crunchy but very dry. She compared it to sitting under a heating lamp for hours. And the sauce for the chicken itself just tasted like sugar, not a hint of sour in the sweet and sour. The chow mein turned out but this mush of vegetables and noodles. I was very confused considering when I placed my order I asked for crunchy chow mein so I have no idea why it was runny and slop essentially. If you're in the area just go to Panda Express, it's right around the corner

I've been coming here for so many years, they have the best honey walnut shrimp ever. I've tried other places and they don't too joy kitchen's. 100% recommend you try it out.

I played video lottery here and forgot to cash out my ticket. They manually entered the ticket number, cashed it out, and pocketed MY money. Thieves work here!!!!

We had our Christmas Eve Dinner early this year and chose Joy's Kitchen. It was a take out order. The pricing was comparable to what most local restaurants were asking. I believe our bill was between $75.00 and $80.00 for the items we wanted. I believe we picked up the order around 5:15 pm. We had ordered: Spring rolls (not bad) Low Mein Noodles ( the dish looked nice but tasted overly cooked). Walnut Shrimp ( Nice looking dish. Just didn't taste that great. I had had never had the dish before so maybe that's just how it taste. Happy Family dish. It was not very good at all. Way over cooked. Broccoli and Beef I personally did not taste it. Our adult son said no taste. Again appeared to be over cooked. Pork Egg Foo Young. It was just not good. The texture was almost like hard and ingredients not mixed well enough. The gravy was bland tasting. My point we live in Aurora about 15 minutes from the restaurant. This was our first time here. We were hoping to experience good foo Young. It's always a shock when you spend $80.00 and the food is just going to be disposed of. Only one star...we probably won't be back.

The tenderest Mongolian beef. My family goes there enough that they know us and have our orders down. Love them....

I was disappointed with the lunch special, I should of known when I didn't see anyone having lunch. The pork fried rice was a little cold and tasted like it had been sitting there for awhile. As for the sweet and sour shrimp it was just okay. It did not taste fresh. Potstickers were hot when served.

The food tasted like it was bought at Costco about 3 months ago. I won't be going back.

What a wonderful family owned restaurant! The staff was super friendly and the owners were were amazing. Their food was really good too, that says something since I am not a Chinese food fan.

Such a good Chinese restaurant in the beginning. Now everything tastes the same. Quality far from par. Lots of flour and sugar. No longer a go to. Definitely mushy and flavorless.

Very popular Chinese food place in town, because the food is good and so are the portion sizes. Must have is their house special fried rice. Large pieces of chicken abd beef, chopped up barbecued pork, and many half shrimp, (medium size shrimp cut in half) so it's loaded with goodies!
