This is my 2nd time eating here and suggested to meet with family. The food was cold especially the country gravy which was not good at all (need a new recipe and lesson in making sausage gravy). The eggs were not cooked as requested. The waitress never came to check up on warming up the coffee which wasn't even hot. Also, it wasn't even busy. We were like the only table of 5 there. Then only 2 other customers that's it. I'm sorry but breakfast items to me are simple and quick and should not pose that much difficulty. I hope that this review and critique is taken to heart!!

The food stands up to its name. Fries soggy and saturated with GREASE. Reuben Sandwich corned beef contained more fat then meat. Bottom slice of bread was totally saturated with grease that one couldn't pick it up to eat as a sandwich the Swiss cheese was 'flavored' at best. I think it must have been American Swiss.

Was in the area and craving eggs Benedict at 12pm after work. Great service and quiet place to eat but probably the most watery and over-salted eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Had to ask for a box. Willing to try again, but would have to be the lunch menu. We make better at home. Boyfriend said his corn Beef hash was great.

I went right as they opened, the coffee was hottt and the service was amazing! I went for biscuits and gravy but the Philly cheese steak omelette caught my eye! AMAZING!!! I definitely will come back and try the biscuits and gravy next weekend! Thank you!

Pappys greasy spoon is a small town hidden gem. It is very vintage and authentic decorated with Americana and Coke antiques.
The food is great and very inexpensive. The portions are good. Everything is tasty. Everything is made to order and served hot.
We especially like the pancakes, which were slightly chewy and very tasty just the way we like it. The hashbrowns are crispy and the butter plentiful.
The meat lovers omelette is packed with meat and very good. I’d recommend getting the biscuit. It was very soft moist and creamy.
There is a parking lot and street parking, but the actual restaurant is not obvious. It is inside an old mall, but it is downtown Canby.
The service is fast, efficient and genuinely friendly.
There is also a bar to eat at this place has every component of a classic diner from days gone by. Well, worth the trip I will be coming back. This place is great!

Traditional American style diner, with a conservative lean and an eccentric owner.
Went there yesterday for breakfast. I have lived in Oregon City for most of my life, and for some reason I just heard about this place. Walking in is just like going into an old fashion diner. I immediately fell in love with all the memorabilia everywhere on the walls. As soon as me and my wife sat down, Pappy the owner came over, put his hand on my shoulder, said welcome in and asked if we needed a cup of coffee. Afterwards, he came back with 2 cups of delicious coffee and asked us if this was our first time visiting and where we were from. The omelets we ordered were so big, we both needed a to go box. And i couldn't finish mine the next day! This will be our go to breakfast spot as long as they are open. Can't say enough good things about this delicious diner!

This is America! Order anything; you will receive an excellent meal. This is my go-to restaurant anytime I'm in Canby or even within ten miles of it around breakfast or lunch. Go to Pappy's when you want to be treated well by a wonderful dinner.
