10/10 absolutely recommend! This place is worth the wait. I've seen many reviews talk about the time it takes. You can clearly tell there isn't a whole back kitchen crew and there is only a couple people working. The food is made to order and beautifully done I might add. There is a bell up front to get the attention of them in the back cooking the many orders they had for take out. If the lobby seems empty, that doesn't mean they don't have orders. Be patient and be kind. They were! Sweetest woman took our order and checked in on us at our table as we did dine-in. We had never been and it was lunch so she walked us through the lunch specials and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We got the lunch box, which was a steal for everything you get. I want to try it all, so the lunch box was amazing because you can essentially sample multiple things. It was flavorful and well put together! Great portion sizes, had enough to take home. I, in my good old fashion style, forgot to take pictures first 🤦♀️. The pictures are of what was left. I had the lunch box with Kung Pao Chicken, 3 spicy California sushi pieces, 2 gyoza, salad, and yakisoba. My husband had the lunch box with orange chicken, 3 spicy California sushi pieces, egg roll, streamed broccoli, and fried rice. I got a Pepsi can and hubby got a water. Everything was $27.50.

I've been waiting for an oder of 2 sides of rice for 30 mins...... UNBELIEVABLE....I'll never be back. 2 sides of rice, they don't have rice pre made, they're making 100s of individual rice orders a day. doubtful.

You can tell they know how to cook food. The fact that they use a wok just shows the care they care for the food. Very friendly staff and made every accommodation easily available. If it were not a 30min drive I would be here every day.

The food takes a long time, but that seems to be because it is being made individually and from scratch. Both of the dishes we ordered were surprisingly good. Portions were also very large. Highly recommended for lunch.

I went into grab some lunch today at this place because my sick girlfriend wanted their ramen. I had never been to Rice Time before and was excited to try their food. Unfortunately, we never got a chance to try it. After waiting a few minutes and ringing the bell, someone came out from behind. I first tried to order the chicken katsu and was told it would take 30-40 min. So I switched it to a teriyaki box. Apparently that was not what she wanted to hear. I’ve never had anyone actively roll their eyes at me when ordering before and she treated me as if I was the biggest inconvenience in her life. Their ordering system is not the most straight forward and I wanted to make sure I understood what I was ordering. This place had only 2 people inside at noon, which now makes a lot more sense. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or in a rush for to go orders, but it turned me off to returning there again. Treat your customers better. Actually scratch that. Treat your customers like customers and not some problem you have to deal with.
