I had the worst experience here last night. We placed orders online and were going to take it to go to eat at the taproom next door.
My mom had ordered before me so I walked up to the counter to see if hers was ready. She said these are orders, yours isn’t ready and I said ok, just checking (I could see my mom’s order on the counter, the receipt was on the bag). A few mins later she put both mine and my mom’s orders on a counter that I guess is where to-go orders are picked up. I grabbed ours but there were no forks so I walked up to the counter to ask. She said yes ok I know! I was so confused why she was so upset. And I said ok well can I get them so I can leave? She said oh my gosh can’t you see I’m busy! And then someone walked in and she said go please I need to help a customer. I said I’m a customer too! I was genuinely so confused.
After she helped him, took an order from some dine in guests and started bagging new to go orders I walked up again and I said can I please get some forks. And she got so mad and said it’s in there! And I said no it’s not! I just need forks so I can go. She said I’m just one woman doing everything, can’t you see I’m busy?! She yelled that she’d give them to me when my order was ready and I said it’s been ready! And she said oh my gosh ok ok sorry here! And threw forks down and I told her I could not believe she was getting so mad for nothing, she was being so rude. Even once she realized she was confused and the one causing problems she continued to shout and then told my sister who was waiting for her order that I was crazy. I was so confused on how and why she was escalating things and being so incredibly rude. I used to live in canby and come all the time and I just couldn’t understand what was going on. Never going back.

We walked in to meet up with our 2 family members. They ordered their food before us, and got their takeout before we did. This is expected, because we ordered inside instead of online. While we were still waiting for our other order, our 2 family members saw that we never got forks or chili oil as asked for our food. When they tried to ask for a fork and chili oil, the hostess at the front desk was being rude, saying "we can't eat here," (we didn't have any intentions of eating there, we ordered takeout.) When new customers came in, she ignored and refused to give us a fork and chili oil for minutes. She eventually gave us a fork, and our 2 family members left. Then, when me and another family member walked up to the desk to get our food, the hostess was calling our other family member crazy or mental, like something wasn't right in their head. She didn't realize we were all in the same group. I have never had a bad experience like this, ever. This was my first time going here, and it will be my last. The taproom that's next door has better service and atmosphere.

I called and ordered ahead. I have been a loyal customer for years. I arrived and was told my order was given to someone else but they would re-make my order. I said "okay, I'll be back in 10 minutes." When I came back, I was told "we didn't make your order." I asked "why would you tell me you would make my order then not make it?" She smiled and laughed. I left.

I normally never Karen but wow I’m shocked. Walked in and noticed the sign that said wait to be seated, mind you we were the only two in the restaurant. We were with in eye shot of two employee and were ignored. Politely said hello twice to try and get their attention and finally after the 3rd try were told every rudely to “sit here”. We sat and waited for over 5 minutes, no menus, no water, no attention given at all. I got up to get menus myself and still no one. Decided to get up and leave. Never been treated so poorly and definitely will not be back. Sad for a place with such good reviews to treat new customers this way.

Told us to sit in the front I asked if we could not sit next to the door because it is cold, her response was a nod and rude look on her face. We sat down and for two minutes no one came to the table or brought a menu . We left and I will never return!

We have eaten at this place several times. Today the lady informed me that it’s standard to leave a 15% tip the service was slow. The tea was cold and she would not bring me any hot sauce. I’m not sure why I want to leave a tip. She just lost another customer.
