Anna’s Table - Cannon Beach

Unique restaurant for Cannon Beach and our first visit. We'll be back.

Light and airy space with a relaxed number of regular, high tables and a bar in front of the chefs (which would be fun).

The focaccia is excellent, great texture and a good kick of salt and oil. We started with the crab cakes which are very good: good crab texture, nice and hot and a yogurt-y dressing. My friend had the linguine and I had the lamb shank both were very tasty.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration at Anna’s and had one of the best dinners ever. The prime rib steak was over the top good and the dense moist coconut cake was the best.

Cozy atmosphere. Great service and most importantly— truly tasty food. We order the salmon and the lamb shank. Both were delicious. Portion size was just right. Wine choices were well explained by the sommelier. We will be coming back.

We value food quality the most, and Anna’s delivered. The restaurant appears to be in a remodeled house at the edge of the center of Cannon Beach. The interior is very simply decorated. I think there could be a bit more art on the walls and slightly more warmth. Our two appetizers and main all had high quality ingredients simply executed w/o any fuss. Our server was the wine steward and he was friendly and very good. The prices were on the high side but they earned it.

Had the Beet Salad and Black Cod small plates for dinner along with an excellent Cabernet Sauvignon (Jackalope Wine Cellars), and Swedish Cream for dessert. Everything was delicious. The beet salad was lovely, with a little butter lettuce, candied walnuts and creamy sauce. Black cod was seared crunchy on the bottom, tender inside and mild glaze on top. The Swedish Cream was a touch sweeter than I like, but the consistency was firm and it had a perfect almond flavor blending nicely with the compote and sugar cookie on top.

The service was efficient and friendly, with good descriptions of the dishes and suggestions.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant when visiting Cannon Beach.

Simply amazing. Fresh and high quality ingredients served in perfect form. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff, this is a must. Glad to see Anna’s in Cannon, great option that’s on par with Stephanie Inn.

We had an amazing dinner at Anna’s table. We were very lucky to be able to sit at the chef’s counter. John provided us with little bites like salted salmon with pickled onion. So delicious. We had scallop ceviche, beet salad, mussels with linguine and petrale. Everything was delicious! We got to visit with John while he cooked and had the feeling like we were eating at a friend’s kitchen for dinner. If you go to Cannon Beach, don’t miss the opportunity to eat here. It’s a delight in every way.
