We came in yesterday (8/21) with our service dog (chocolate lab) and was seated behind the restaurant in a nice, quiet, private patio area. The server was super friendly, and brought a pail of water over for the dog which we greatly appreciate. He was also sweet to greet her and say hi (she loves to be acknowledged). Now the food- was super delicious! I had THE Grilled Cheese (Brie, smoked mozzarella, pear and marionberry with Dijon aioli). I get it every time we come here (1-2x/yr). My husband had a pork taco and a brisket taco (he couldn’t decide so the server suggested one of each). He said they were excellent! We always stay at Lands End and it’s right next door. We may have started coming here for convenience, but we keep coming back for thr fantastic food, friendly service and quaint atmosphere. There is very limited seating as it’s a small location, so be patient. It’s worth it. Highly recommend!

We went there to celebrate my birthday for the second year in a row. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. We ordered so much food and everything was incredible; the charcuterie, the grilled cheese, the corn dog, the soft pretzel with jalapeño cheese sauce, the fried cheese curds. We also, got the dessert pretzel to-go for the drive home. Everything we’ve tried there has been stellar. Plus, it’s a block and a half from public ocean access. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We did have a short wait. They don’t have a wait list, which admittedly was odd at first. However, once we got inside it was obvious why. The space was rather limited. Once we were seated, the service was great and the food was very satisfying. We had the smoked Turkey Rueben and the Cubano sandwich. Both were great! The signature drinks were good. We talked with the bartender for a bit and tried some infused tequila and vodka, both were wonderful. We would go back again.

Had a short wait, but it was worth it. We tried the Ciabatta, Brisket Sandwich, Chicken Wings, and the Dirty Fries. The meats were good and the sauces had great flavors. Homemade fries and coleslaw were great.
Recommend for some good eats in Cannon. A bit on the pricier side.

The Cannon Beach Smokehouse is a fantastic spot to eat while visiting Cannon Beach. While they don’t take reservations, the system is easy, you simply line up on the side of the building, and the wait is well worth it.
We sampled a little bit of everything: the warm pretzel, the meat sampler, and the smoked chicken wings, each one flavorful and perfectly prepared. The standout, surprisingly, was the cheese sandwich—creative, rich, and unlike anything else we’ve had. Highly recommend giving it a try.
The atmosphere is cozy and memorable, with dark wood interiors, unique artwork, and even a taxidermied boar’s head adding to the rustic charm. Though the space is on the smaller side, they accommodate both minors and guests 21+, with designated seating areas for each.
Overall, a wonderful experience from food to ambiance. I’d go back anytime.

Every time I’m at cannon beach, I stop here! And always get the Best brisket sandwich I ever had on sourdough toast with cheese! The brisket has that essence of Texas smokiness that I love . Oooo and the fries and Cole slaw are also a must !! Enjoy
