Overpriced and overhyped. $76 backs for breakfast for two, omelette and eggs Benedict đł is too much. Any addons charge $3+, and options are limited. The taste of food was nothing spectacular that worth to wait so long, 45 minutes precisely. The service was excellent, fast and friendly though! Minus one star for only cash policy. Common, itâs 2025.

I donât usually leave reviews, and I especially donât usually leave bad reviews but I have to say I was unfortunately pretty disappointed in my meal here.
I was pretty excited to try this place out, had to wait about 50 minutes to get in which was ok because inside looked cute, but man when we actually sat down and ordered food there was a very large gap between the prices and portions offered. I ordered a waffle for $15 figuring for that price it had to be large, or come with sides or have a stack or something, and was brought exactly one small, flat waffle with two slices of banana, half a strawberry and a slice of apple. Iâd say the mass amounted to about two eggo waffles worth of waffle. Was it tasty? Sure, but I could have probably eaten about 4-5 of them before getting full. Should you have to spend $60 to fill up on diner breakfast? Thatâs for you to decide.
I wanted to supplement it with a side of potatoes, until I saw that a single order of a side of potatoes was $8. Side of bacon? $8. I find that frankly ridiculous for what were some very normal tasting diner/cafe food.
My friend got a regular omelet and side of potatoes for $17, again it felt like an incredibly steep price for a very modest serving of normal tasting food.
In the end, my friend and I quickly finished our $40 breakfast after we were served (which wasnât hard considering the portions), got up and headed somewhere else to actually fill up for breakfast.
Bums me out to leave this review, but Iâm generally always looking for any things to love about wherever Iâm eating, so itâs very rare I leave a meal feeling as genuinely disappointed as I did here. Service was great and the restaurant is very cute, but I will not be coming back here for breakfast again.

What can I say about this little establishment!
First, trust Google Maps. If it appears like it took you to the rear of the establishment, as it occasionally does, TRUST IT. Then, take the âcash-onlyâ requirement in good faith - it really reflects on how genuine the establishment is. You can always walk across the street and get cash. Then, donât be discouraged by the small size of the place - it is big on all aspects that really matter. Great food, great service that goes beyond a friendly hospitality, and did I mention great food?
Definitely the best place I have had breakfast on the coast. It is the only place that I have had desert after breakfast.
Prices were more than reasonable. And a shout out to Jasmine, our host who made us feel like family.
Drop everything and go there for breakfastđ

The servers were nice and very professional. Definitely a good vibe- very homey and rustic. Have cash on hand.
The food was very home-styled and rustic vibe too. The special waffle was cinnamonny and wasn't what you'd usually expect. The potatoes had either rosemary or thyme which I personally didn't enjoy, but otherwise it was delicious. The cheese omelette was really good though.

My breakfast was really good! The coffee hot and service great. My only critique would be the portions of crab and potatoes were skimpy. (Potatoes a little dry) For $41 (includes coffee and tip) I should have walked out with a full belly. The atmosphere was pleasant but tight. This place has a great reputation and I would concur worth waiting for 15 minutes.

Cash only but truly a fantastic experience. Wonderful service and wonderful food. Donât miss having breakfast at this place if youâre staying at Cannon Beach Oregon
Vibe is very cozy and the wait staff is very sweet and attentive. That being said, for how long of a wait and the cost of the food (and being cash only) was kind of hoping for more of a âwowâ factor for the food. I highly recommend getting coffee ahead of time elsewhere if you are a coffee drinker - coffee is akin to burnt diner coffee.

You know it's good when it's cash only and a hand written waitlist. The oat waffles are amazing, fruit is fresh and coffee is way better than I'd expected. Inside is intimate, cozy, and down to earth with a touch of class (i.e. the white tablecloths). Plus, awesome wait staff - friendly and efficient! We left full and happy.

The best breakfast in Cannon Beach! The Eggs Benedict and Johnâs Special are favorites. The bacon is thick and cooked perfectly. If you are lucky to go on a day when scones are made get one. Go early for no waiting.
