MacGregor's of Cannon Beach

Nice small bar and restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and cute waiters! The espresso martini was delicious as were our apps and dinner. They have a huge selection of bourbon - way more than anywhere else in the area. The owner was also cool. Had a chance to talk with him- very down to earth and locally owned!

Extremely high quality delicious food, for example: Peruvian peppers in the macaroni and cheese. Absolutely delicious and something new I've never had before. Impressive cocktails and very friendly service.

Perfect spot for a cocktail or a flight, with friendly staff that take their mixology and whiskey library seriously. We've never been disappointed! Now known as The Alchemy Lounge.

Really enjoyed our night caps here. They made a custom, fantastic mocktail for me. Also their sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. Really nice and accommodating staff!

Stopped in for a nightcap and was pleasantly surprised by the full selection of whiskey, the knowledgeable and friendly staff, the attention to decor details, and the small menu was good. Definitely a place to go to! Would not miss!

One of my favorite reasons to come to Cannon Beach! Joel has an incredible amount of knowledge about whiskey and can always recommend something new and exciting. The updated food menu is fantastic, highly recommended. While the cocktails are superb, I suggest their custom flights to take advantage of their wide selection.

Top notch experience. We are still on east coast time so we went in mid-afternoon and ate and it was delicious. Came back later to cap it off. Highly recommend.

Google recommended this place for fish and chips. They do not have a fryer but we didn't mind. Such a treat to accidentally find this place.
I believe they've changed the name to the alchemist.
We had a great experience due to the trifecta... Whiskey expert, mixologist, and chef.... Knowledgeable is an understatement. They all are experienced and passionate about what they bring to the table. And friendly... Our pours, cocktails, and bites were the best of our trip. Wish I lived closer because it would be a regular hangout.

Wow. Highly recommend. Service was the best. Cocktails were amazing. Specials - Aguachile, Smoked Crab Dip and the Sticky Pudding Desert were memorable and so tasty. Loved our meal here. Go here if you don’t mind trying recommendations from the bartenders!!!

We had our dinner there. Dungeness crab dip and tacos which we shared. And a great drink. It was a dark cherry whiskey sour. Our waiter was excellent and if we weren't staying only one day we would go back again.

Great burger, best in trip, great seafood stew. Friendly staff; the cocktails were off the chain…black manhattan with sacerac rye and then I had to try the black cherry whiskey sour with buffalo trace

Great drinks, food was very good. Best place in cannon beach for a cocktail that I’ve been to if you’re looking for an actual craft cocktail. Server was very nice as well!
