Ordered a Hawaiian Style bowl, and asked for added strawberries and Honey. The guy who rang me up was super cheerful and smiley, as was the other employee. After a 3 minute wait-short for an açaí bowl I think!- my bowl was ready and-wow. It looked AMAZING! The woman who had set my bowl on the counter showed me where on the counter the spoons were, and wished me a happy day. I tried a bite and INSTANTLY fell in love! Soooo good, and just as good as the second bite! I walked back to the place we were staying, and on my way back through town, a couple stopped me asked, "where did you get that? It looks amazing!" I told them the direction and the name of the juice bar. I'm hopeful that they got a bowl, because these are just amazing!!

This place is a great breakfast and smoothie place in Cannon Beach! The Shaka and CaraMac lattes were delicious, and all of the bowls I've tried have been really good. I would definitely recommend checking Island Grinds out.

Friendly staff! There isn't much standing room so the line is frequently out the door. Don't let this deter you! There were only 3 people in line before me and it moved quickly. I was crashing and needed a pick me up in the early afternoon while visiting Cannon Beach. I got a 12oz nonfat mocha and it did the trick. Not too sweet and the flavor was nice. If you need a caffeine boost, stop on by.

I'm addicted to this nutritional, exquisitely scrumptious, small shop. They make nutritional drinks to die for. Even their coffee selection is impressive. For a highlight of my day, I get a cold pressed drink with ginger.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. My mom asked a high maintenance Portlandian-type question, “does your almond milk have sugar?” and our server simply smiled genuinely and bumped over to the box to find out (even though the question was retracted as soon as my mom realized she didn’t care enough to have the server make the effort). A warm smile followed her effort as she asked for the rest of our order. No judgement in her tone. No frustration in her face. And even though there was a small line behind us she made us feel like our order was important and appreciated. To boot the tea and smoothie and muffin were delicious and nutritious and came out fast. Top notch all around.

Absolutely love this coffee / drink stand. The drinks are so healthy and DELICIOUS!!!! The girl worker had a wonderful attitude and a good pace going. They have coffee, fruit, smoothies, fresh squeezed juice, bagels, and even vegan pastries!! They have a lot of vegan milk and dairy free whipped cream. A literal dream for cruelty free eaters. I can't wait to come back again and get another drink. The place is really cute too and looks so tropical and warm. Come here if you want to recieve a really good experience and fantastic tasting treats!

Very disappointed with the size of their bowls - they are tiny for their price point. The amount of fruit was minimal. Wouldn't come back.

Island Grinds was such a fantastic find! I went a few times while on vacation in Cannon Beach. The menu was wide so there was something for everybody there. From coffee and tea to juices to smoothies and açaí bowls, they have so much to offer. Dairy free alternatives are available, which I appreciated. I got the iced matcha (not pictured) one day and the iced Shaka latte another (both with oat milk) and I really enjoyed them. The Shaka, though, was my favorite. The flavor is refreshing and interesting. I also tried the PNW açaí bowl, and that was really good, but a little on the small side for the price, in my opinion. Servers are very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cannon Beach in need for a quick snack or morning pick-me-up!

Great spot for an açaí bowl and morning coffee. Drinks are priced right but portion for $12.75 açaí bowl needs to be adjusted. Probably half the size we're used to. For reference, bowl is small paper bowl and NOT filled to the top. Very shallow portions. But it was definitely delicious!!!

Island Grinds Coffee & Juice Bar in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Sorry I didn't get the before photo but I was anxious to dig into the 'Basic Açaí bowl' with add-on blueberries. I've had a lot of açaí bowls and this one was pretty good except that the blueberries had stems on several of them. The ratio of açaí to toppings was about 50/50. Good topping selection. It was Independence Day weekend so parking was scarce and we were lucky to find a table outside.
