Better service here than pelican bay! I was surprised they didn’t require us to sit forever like pelican bay even though that location had open tables but you couldn’t sit. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

This place is amazing! The staff is awesome! Brought my wife yesterday to try out their beer selection and was so impressed by everything. Recommend ordering a flight and trying them all! Thank you to the warm and welcoming staff and management that put that cherry on top of an already memorable day. We will definitely be back again! This time with friends.

I ordered the fish and chips and it was the most dry fish I’ve ever had. My fianceé and her friend were hanging out having a couple beers and I was sitting in a comfy chair outside relaxing with my eyes closed and a guy tells me I can’t sleep there…. It’s not like I was a bum sleeping on a bench. But whatever guy. I won’t be back and I’ll take my business else where.

This is by far the best gluten free fried food I have ever had.
Fish and chips. Check! Onion Rings. Check! Chicken tenders. Check.
Here's the deal though, they have your order your food right when you walk in and give you a number. Then they bring it to you when its ready. If you want a wait staff to watch over you, then don't come. I loved that I could just enjoy my family and not be interrupted by, "How's the food?".
Fountain drinks and water are out for you to self serve.
Also, they have in house homemade root beer. It's worth it, and for $2 more, you can make it a float.
If you're into micro brewing, this is also a great place for you.

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and the fountain drinks are self serve. Kids can go to town.

I DREAM of this place! I have traveled to Oregon a few times in recent years and I MAKE SURE I stop at Public Coast! Their root beer is exceptional (seriously the best I have ever had… it is so robust and full of flavor)... their onion rings and clam chowder are the best I have ever had, and their fish is delicious. These dishes I got were gluten free and they were PERFECT. This is a celiac’s dream stop.

My father in law has a gluten allergy, so I love being able to find places he can eat safely when we travel together. This restaurant did not disappoint. The food here was delicious. You genuinely can’t tell it’s gluten free. Even the gluten free clam chowder was better than typical clam chowders. My father in law was so happy! Restaurants like this genuinely make someone with a gluten allergy so much happier and it makes a difference.
