Absolutely wonderful in every possible way! The food was perfectly wonderful and NW drinks were absolutely perfect, as was our bartender Bryan and our server :). Not to mention the atmosphere! Wonderful. Hands down the best dining experience I or my husband has ever had at the Oregon Coast. Thank you all for a positively delightful evening.

Small, intimate, upscale/casual. Everything was great from beginning to end. Service and food were exceptional! Was visiting from out of town, would definitely go back.

Wonderful dinner on a blustery evening! Food choices were unique and delicious. Hubby had the sturgeon and I had the filet. Both were cooked to perfection. The sides were interesting and flavorful. Wine by glass was limited but good chouces. Live music was fun. Prices are on the high side, but worth every penny! Service was friendly and helpful. Great option for your splurge dinner out!

The location, decor, music and service was wonderful, the menu original and creative, the food presentation excellent, but the warm delicious bread is salty, my crab cakes were more salt and my linguini with prawns was a salt bomb only rolling and tasting a couple pieces of just linguini, with more over powering salt on the small prawn.

Great restaurant with some of the best wait staff I've had the pleasure of interacting with! The Chef Jack is inventive and creates amazing dishes from appetizer to dessert. So glad JJ gave us a wave as we strolled through town!

Beautiful restaurant with great customer service....love the live music.... Soft lighting and lovely artwork.... Unfortunately my fillet of beef was incredibly small, considering the high price, and a little too rare for medium. I would also watch the salt level which was too intense... One cocktail and one entree was $100... I think for that price the filet should be a little larger and the potato and vegetable sides should be the same temperature as the steak. One was hot, one was warm and one was cold.... Perhaps I was just there on just an off night after they had been closed for a month....

There is no better spot for a date night in Cannon Beach than The Bistro. From the nightly live music (quiet and a lovely touch) to the cocktails to the amazing food. Would suggest making a reservation during busier times but there is a bar area if you are a drop in and get lucky. Everyone who works here is just amazing and we have never been more taken care of. Last but not least, the food is out of this world and we ended up going back as we were not able to try as many items as we wanted to on the first night

While the ambiance of Bistro was lovely and certainly played the farm to table part I cannot say the same about the food. To begin, we were sat 15 minutes late and did not see a server for our first 20 minutes. Our drinks took an extended amount of time and despite proactively putting in appetizers and entrees early, everything was a wait to say the least. Our entrees did not all come out at the same time, with one coming 15 minutes after everyone else's. The steak was cold, the chowder forgettable, and the caramel chicken was overly moist and off putting texture. The one positive was the coastal thai soup which was gratefully warm and flavorful. The expectations of the experience were high due to the positive reviews from others but we were left disappointed and constantly waiting.

Live music, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. Maybe some of the best seafood I've ever had. Great cocktails too!

We ordered food to go through their seamless to use website ordering link. I arrived a few minutes early and had a great beer at the bar, and enjoyed the warm atmosphere and lovely live classical guitar. When the food arrived the bartender got me out of there quickly. Even for my takeout, the staff was very friendly. The food was great. I look forward to eating there in person for our next trip!

Great food and atmosphere . Not stuffy. Great food, wine and service. Had the Halibut and Steak - Wish it was less pricey but the food quality was enjoyable.

Our favorite in Canon Beach. Very nice wine list and the service and food was excellent. If you can score a table in the bar they have nightly music. Reservations a must.

Came here for dinner with friends on a Saturday evening. Made reservations in advance for 5:15. There is no designated parking lot for the restaurant, but there is a parking lot about a block away for area shoppers. We were greeted as we walked in. Very inviting ambiance with dim lights. They have live music; an acoustic guitarist played soft tunes while we dined. The restaurant is pretty small inside, but they also have outdoor patio seating available. We ordered the cioppino, pork porterhouse, and fig and beet salad for entrees. They were all delicious! The pork was cooked perfectly and very tender. The cioppino had tons of seafood and just the right spicy kick. The salad was fresh. For dessert, we ordered the maple cinnamon cheesecake, crazy swede, and their homemade coffee ice cream. All desserts are made in-house, and it shows. All were delicious and a perfect end to a wonderful meal. Our traditional dinner spot during our annual girls beach weekend is Neah Kah Nie Bistro in Manzanita where we stay, but they were closed for a fall break this visit, so we found The Bistro as an alternative. We were happy we did! It was such a wonderful first experience. We'll definitely return and highly recommend it.
