Took my fiance out for birthday dinner. The service was very good. The first thing I noticed about the ambience was that it's very loud, for some reason. I thought it was just me, but I saw someone else mention it in their review. Everything else about the atmosphere is delightful...the decor, the lighting...I don't know what makes the acoustics like that. It didn't ruin the night or anything, just worth a mention. As far as food, my entree was amazing! Cajun shrimp. Delicious, generous on the shrimp, rich tasty sauce. Loved it. Fiance got the chicken curry. It was somewhat mediocre. The chicken was a bit chewy. I feel it would have been dry if it wasn't in the sauce. I'm a lot less fussy than my fiance, so we traded. It filled the hole, but it wasn't amazing like the shrimp! We had keylime cheesecake for deSsert, which was heavenly. If we go again, we'll probably both get the shrimp, and then they'll get their 5 stars from us!All in all, a very pleasant night.The only thing I'll add is that we WISH SO HARD they would bring back their Sunday Brunch! It was phenomenal.

Busy as it was an event night. Service was slow but the food was amazing and the waiter acknowledged the slowness at the end. I am a return customer and only complaint is the noise level, makes it difficult sometime to hear conversations.

My wife and I shared a delightful meal on Saturday evening last weekend. We have been here several times in the past, usually while passing through Oregon, and we have never been disappointed. The atmosphere was predictably lively, the service was attentive and quick, and the food was excellent. What a delight--we strongly recommend. I gave it five stars for everything but four stores for value just because it's a bit pricey (but the food was worth it).

We had a nice dinner. I did feel the prices were high for the amount of food that was served compared to the last few times we dined at the K-Bar. It was very noisy in the restaurant, sometimes to the point of not being able to hear the conversation at our table. Our server was was very nice and did a great job. We did have to request bread twice. I'm not sure how it is supposed to be served now.

Hostess accommodated us and sat us by the window. Restaurant temperature was a bit cold. Food was good. Potato soup was amazing!!! Would have liked to have Gluten Free bread option for my wife. Noise level was good. We were able to talk without raising our voices. Server was good. Could have made a few more passes by the table. Overall a terrific experience (as usual)!

We loved our dinner at K-Bar. We usually celebrate special occasions here. Our waiter Louis was such a professional, but still fun and an excellent server. He helped us choose a wonderful wine and was attentive, didn't hover, but still accommodated our every need. Our steaks were probably the best we've ever had, or at least in recent memory. It was an expensive dinner, but we were celebrating a special birthday and wanted something above the ordinary. The setting is spectacular. It was quiet and elegant. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you very much for a great experience.
Food was great! Service was mediocre. Asked for an IPA and received Bud Light at best. Never received the side of fries we ordered. Would have asked for them but the waiter dropped off food and rarely returned.
We ordered the petite filet minion, and it was perfect by itself. I added nothing to it. The beef is if the highest quality and it's like chewing butter. The sides are excellent, don't underestimate the grilled veggies, they are delicious. Are server Joanna was excellent, she friendly, fast and efficient. I highly recommend eating here, just make sure you make a reservation.

My husband had the rib eye and I had the New York strip steak. He said his was delicious but mine tasted like sterno I took two bites and couldn't do anymore. I didn't let our waiter know because he likely would have brought me another steak, and I just couldn't. I have always had great food here so I was definitely surprised.
We have gone several times and always enjoy the service and food. This time, my wife had scallops (her favorite) and I had a petite filet mignon. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The waitress was very nice as were the other employees. After dinner, I returned from our room with a bottle wine and the bartender opened it free of charge and even offered us glasses to take to our room. K-Bar is a wonderful place to eat, drink, and be merry.

We come to the K-Bar every few months for whatever special occasion. By far this was the best experience in a long time. We had asked for a window table when we made our reservation and was seated at the perfect table for two right by the window as we had asked for. Our waiter Jose was super helpful. My wife got the filet mignon and I thought I would go with something different - the Elk Loin. Not having elk before I was unsure how to order it . I like my beef medium rare. When Jose asked how I would like mine cooked I explained I did not know how elk was served. He said it would be very tender and highly recommended it to be cooked medium rare. We each enjoyed a very nice salad with excellent wine while waiting for our entree. Perfectly cooked meats. When I was going to take a picture to send to friends Jose was right there to take the picture with booth of us in the picture. Several times throughout the meal he made sure our meal was what we were hoping for and it certainly was. After the table was cleared he offered a couple dessert - the chocolate cheesecake and the creme brulee. We went with the latter as that is our favorite. All in all a great meal experience. Can't wait to my birthday to come back.

My wife and I were here to celebrate our anniversary together and we were so happy to have such a great experience. Her filet mignon was delicious and my ribeye was delicious as well . Our server was amazing , on spot with everything and not missing a single detail . Thank you K-Bar Restaurant for a wonderful evening .

8 top table, birthday boys steak way overcooked, like gray literally. We are not people who send food back,but in this instance we did. Other steak at the table wanted well his was way under cooked.. disappointing for $450 dinner. Service with waitress was amazing otherwise would be extremely disappointed.
