Overall would have given a 3, servers were nice but slow overall, the food was Americanized Mexican, large portions favoring quantity over quality. 1 star because 2 of the people in our group ended up with mild food poisoning, both ordered taco salads.

Tame Mexican cuisine but with a distinct lack of cheese on some dishes. Also not super flavorful. However it's not bad food and my family members enjoyed most of their dishes. They refill your complimentary chips and salsa as well.

A really good location right on the highway in Cave Junction. They have plenty of parking. It is nice inside. They have a vegetarian section on their menu. I had the Cactus Burrito and my wife one with zucchini and other vegetables. They were short staffed when we were there.

We were very happy to find this restaurant. The food is delicious, and the restaurant is conveniently located halfway between Medford and Crescent City.
I have been coming here since I was a child. I used to really love Carlos. It isn't the same. The servers are not happy and helpful like they used to be. They walk around as if they are pissed off. They forget things often. They don't converse with their customers like they used to. I have worked in the service industry and I am disappointed with the decline in service in the last few years eating at Carlos.
