Just was this traveler and her children needed. Popped into Cave Junction Just after sunset get checked into our Air B&B and were looking for dinner our host recommend Carlos's and it was just right! Atmosphere was cute and clean. Staff was friendly. Food was good. My son liked it so much he asked the h Order extra rice so he could have it for breakfast.

We had a group of 8 and everyone loved their meal. The staff was friendly, kept us supplied with chips, salsa and water. The wait for our food was minimal. We'll definitely be back again.

This place may look a tad rough on the exterior but make no mistake about it - the mexican food here is several notches better than you'll find anywhere around. I had the Zaparez carne asada enchiladas; so flavorful! The platters were huge portions with fresh ingredients and perfectly salted nacho chips. My wife had the chile relleno enchiladas. Please do not hesitate to give this place a try. The patio was even quite nice in the cool of the afternoon air. You can really tell this is a family run place putting their hearts into the food served here.

Food is decent, most of the time. Kinda hit or miss, though. In the past few years, most of the staff has changed, not the same friendly ppl anymore. If you get take-out, check your order before you leave! If you call to complain about missing food, they'll accuse you of lying.
