There was an electricity outage in the whole city and the chef cooked a delicious to go pasta + minestrone + garlic bread in the dark for us. It was so thoughtful and kind and the food made with love and delicious. Thanks again for the amazing treatment 🍝

A very good small Italian restaurant with very delicious dishes and a good few waiters who cycle around who are polite and helpful.

The French bread is cheap but I like it fine, however you should know it's not fresh made.

That said though, I do genuinely love the main dishes and my mother and I have enjoyed eating their food for years, and we especially love their Tiramesu desert.

The atmosphere is nice and pleasant with Italian art pieces around and Italian music played for a calm dining experience.

The bathrooms are kept clean but they are small, enough room to feel fine but only one toilet each.

A fancy looking (from the outside) Italian restaurant located in Cave Junction, Oregon? You know this Jerseyite had to check it out. Sure, it took me seven years of driving past it on an almost daily basis, but I finally did it.

The server we had was very calm, cool, and good at her job. She helped us quickly and didn't make any mistakes. The cook seems like kind of an ass (based on hearing him yell a bunch about people's orders) but that fits with my memory of Italian restaurants and delis.

The food was average. There was nothing special about the spices, the sauce, the pasta, the bread, or the meat. Plus it was the same price as some nicer places, but only half the food.

I'm glad I finally experienced Pietro's, but I probably won't be back.

Really disappointed in the food. Been craving spaghetti for weeks. I didn't see a spek of seasoning, nor meat. It literally tasted like tomato sauce. Not spaghetti. Plus very little sauce.
Tasted like it had freezer burn, like a pre frozen meal from the back of the cooler.
I've been there many times. This was just horrible.
Very bad.
Here's a basic recipe.
Tomatoe sauce, and giant can for under $10, a butt load of salt, pepper, rosemary, oregono. Garlic and onion. you can get an entire bottle for $1 each seasoning.! Noodles are cheap and basic. That's like maybe $20 for 10+ servings. Not per plate.

Went for our first time! I must admit we have been sleeping on this place. It's wonderful! Our server was attentive, I had the Italian house salad to start while my partner had the creamy Italian salad, so delicious, the redwine vinegar with the herb mix along with olive oil transported us to Sicily, such a wonderful flavor! My Lasagna Bolognes was superb along with the glaric bread it all paired beautifully. You can taste the authenticity and the love for the art of cooking. My wife had the Conalettie she enjoyed every bite, needless to say we were impressed! The owner was the creator of these wonderful dishes and made our experience beautiful. Thank you Nino for such a beautiful experience. we are so happy we found our new favorite restaurant.

Vegetarian options: Lentil soup, eggplant dishes.

Only the best made to order authentic Italian food in Southern Oregon. Can't be beat, we lived off it during covid. We use to live 15 mins away, we now live in Grants Pass and still make the drive out for dinner. Simply Outstanding!!

Kid-friendliness: Chef loves family and kids.

Cute, cozy restaurant with very good Italian food. I recommend the lasagna bolongnese and ravioli. The spumoni for dessert is a great choice. Good wines also.
