Excellent food and service. I was even made a special LoMein because I was alone and the regular sized dish was to large. The use of spices was amazing and really a unique flavor that I absolutely loved!
Great service. Fodd is always great. Good clean atmosphere.
Great place and lots of great food. Location is dated but they have been here forever, important thing is excellent food and Ma's has it.!.!
It was kinda sad. I was skeptical when I walked in and should have trusted my first impression. The food took a long time to come to the table and all of what I ordered had something about them I didn't like. The place was very dated on the inside and the food was not good at all. Sloppy and rushed despite it taking forever to be served. This really turned me off to eating in central Point of the whole as that I was new to town looking for a good Chinese/Asian food restaurant to frequent. Long story short it took me a while to trust anything that came out of Central Point from that day on. A big disappointment and the price was ridiculous for what they're putting out. Remodel, redecorate and retool the food and preparation or close. 2/10.
First time ordering here, went home...was NOT what I ordered. They told me there's a no refund policy that it's the customers responsibility to make sure the order is right. I had shrimp in everything...the rice, happy family and I ordered...Mar far chicken and chicken chow mein, the family order B not D. Just a heads up to the others, check your order or get screwed for $40.
Food was plentiful, great tasting, atmosphere was fun and the lady in charge was super.
Without a doubt the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Bland and overpriced. Do not get food from here.
I have literally been eating at this restaurant since infancy and have had countless birthday meals at Ma’s growing up. I feel compelled to write a review now because I moved to Portland almost 2 years ago and have yet to find comparable Chinese food. My husband and I find ourselves craving Ma’s way too often and just get disappointed and disgusted by the abysmal options the city has to offer. We will be making a trip down in the near future just for a decent meal.
Worst Thai food I've ever had.
Excellent Lo Mein.

DON'T DO IT!!! 0/10 OVERALL
My grandma, daughter and I went here for lunch today (07/31/2024). While the service and atmosphere was good, the food was seriously terrible. We ordered the Schezwan dinner for two. We sent back the soup because it giggled and tasted extremely bland. We sent back the steamed potsickers that were obviously old, frozen and somehow still fried. We sent back the crab ragoons because the shell was like plastic. This wasn't all the food we sent back. The fried rice and orange chicken weren't bad. We never got the hot tea that's included with the meal and the waitress ended up charging us an extra $2 for orange chicken instead of Kung po chicken. We sent back more than half our meal and they charged us extra. Needless to say this was our first and last time here.
