Perfect Oregon coast, fishing village, lunch dining experience!! Cathy, the owner, was the perfect gracious hostess. Explained the menu items and helped with our decision-making. The clam chowder was to die for!! Nice and creamy with no chunks of potatoes. The prawns were lightly breaded and fried perfectly as well as the cod fish sticks. Her homemade slaw was an added treat! The experience was just what this North Carolina couple was looking for!!

My celiac husband loved this place! The staff was knowledgeable and available to make accommodations to keep him safe. I was so thankful. The rest of the family had such a good time that we came back a second time over the week we stayed. We adored the staff in this little town.

The first time we went there it was absolutely amazing food. So we went back again. We both ordered the seafood combo. Its sad to say the fish, shrimp and clam strips came out so oily and barely cooked we couldn't eat it. Very unfortunate. For 50 bucks.

A family-run restaurant with very good food right at the marina.

Great food--we got clam chowder and the Captain's Feast and our kids demolished the clam chowder and bread! Calamari was tender, prawns were fresh, and the service was super friendly. Highly recommend!

How is it that a nondescript building in the tiny town of Charleston, nestled on the wharf, has the best clam chowder in Oregon? Forget Mo’s, Monkey Business truly knows their business when it comes to great seafood. And the clam chowder? Seriously, the clam chowder is a necessity for anyone cruising down Highway 101 to come off the beaten path and find this little gem. I cannot exclude the staff, who were extremely friendly and on top of all of our needs. Highly recommended!

This was my second visit to Monkey Business. I had a fish taco that melted in my mouth. No exaggeration. Our other orders included a chicken sandwich, a cheeseburger, and a bread bowl of their clam chowder. Everyone was thrilled with their order. I didn't rate the atmosphere only because we ate outside, which was just fine. I highly recommend this food establishment. Yum! Yum! I can't wait to go back!
