I wanted to LOVE this place. Had a 6pm reservation got seated at 6:20. Didn't receive entrées until after 7:30 and our appetizers didn't even show up. Food was incredible! Service was not even mediocre unfortunately. I recommend trying it for the food but expect to stay for awhile.

I made a 6pm reservation. Didn't get seated until 6:20. The restaurant isn't even half full. Ordered at 6:30. It is now 7:23 and we've only recieved 3 salads and some wine. The salads had ice in them. This is not $30 a plate service.

Although our waitress was outstanding and the oysters we had were fresh, the oysters were not on the half shell as advertised. The restaurant offers oyster shooters for a price reflecting the difference between already shucked oysters and oysters on the half shell which are freshly shucked and delivered in their own shell. The oysters we received were previously shucked and served on an oyster shell reused by the chef according to the wait staff. Needless to say we were shocked! I don't recommend dining based on the obvious misrepresented dish we were served. The restaurant represents itself as a fine dining option with a representation of fine wines. There was only one vineyard represented for red and white. It was a bottom tier wine. The mixed drink options were extremely limited. No tequila at all. Very disappointing. They also advertise a view of the river while dining, but that is only available for dinner. We visited in the off season, mid October, so I cannot comment on how loud the atmosphere may get. There were only two other diners in the restaurant. I also cannot comment on the availability of parking as the parking lot was essentially empty, but fairly large for the area. We felt the quality of the dining area was not reflected in the cost of the meal. Overall, I cannot recommend. 15 years ago when I dined there it was very good. I think the present owners are banking on the past glory and reputation of the restaurant.

If you don’t like deep fried food save your money. Grilled fish dry and bland. Halibut medallions with bacon wrapped were both slimy and dry. Waitress seemed to hate her job and everything was really expensive. The deep fried crab legs were like fish nuggets. Not a fan.

We came here for our 35th anniversary dinner and it was less than impressive. 1 waitress for the whole restaurant. Waitress kept delivering our order to the wrong table. I got food I didn't order. It seems there were other owners/employees around but not helping the poor Waitress of one. On a good note the Old Fashioned was really good. Waitress was nice but not her fault.

They were out of whole crab at noon, with empty resturant.
Coleslaw had pinapples and raisins in it. Tasted rotten and sweet.
Fried shrimp were bland and rubbery
Lack of healthy sides ended up just eating the halibut fillet by itself after the coleslaw encounter.
Ordered the raw oysters, i love oysters but these were off, and low quality, tasted bitter.
Fried zucchini was great. Pasta was good and fries were crispy to perfection. Service was amazing our waitress dillengently served our 11 guests.
Half of our guest showed up after we had received the appetizers and first course they opted not to order and eat with how the food turned out.

The chef came out and visited with us at our table. He recomended the snapper and prepared it just the way we like it, lightly broiled. We had a wonderful experience and would recomend to others with no reservations. The service was great, food was outstanding and the experience was memorable. Hope to return.

Nice to dine by the water. The service is good, and the food is delicious. The salad is bomb.

We were expecting great tasting seafood but...
The deep fried oysters and the fish were undercooked and very bland. Even just some S&P in the batter would have helped. The fries were good, the coleslaw was inedible, it was also bland and tasted like it was made days ago. The waitress was very nice and friendly. We probably won't go there again as the price was way too high for not-so-good food.
