Finally got a drink, or tablewas dirty so she cleaned it with a wet bleach towel never dried out for us. Every time someonecame past us we would be told,I'LL BE RIGHT BACK, We heard out 4 times, we paid for our drinks and left!! Very poor service. We wild recommend out to ANY ONE

The Portside is trying to be a top tier restaurant utilizing the fast food strategy. ie: paper plates, cups, and plastic ware. We had fish and chip (GOOD) not great. I thought the chicken Alfredo was pretty good for a pasta dish. We were just having a lunch so the patio worked. It was right next to the street and parking lot. They do have window seating, I think for dinner only? The server was pleasant and helpful all through the meal, however, and this is my gripe! I've always tipped the server. The problem I have with tipping is it's based on the cost of the meal and I think it's totally ridiculous this way! I left a tip shy of 8$ and we got the impression that we wronged someone. So, an ok meal went south in a quick fashion because someone didn't appreciate a tip they received for doing their job! I'm finding that I don't enjoy going out as much anymore for exactly this tipping fiasco! The food and service were ok but we won't be going back. Not a top tier restaurant, ONLY IN NAME AND PRICING!

Casual comfy restaurant with excellent food and service (Cheryl ❤️) Loved the tender lightly breaded calamari and their wonderful fries. Prices are moderate. Didn't have clams in shell this time of year but had fried clams and other great seafood. Seating is a little tight. Parking plentiful.

Waitress was very rude. we asked to sit at the widow, and she says well we will sit here and put us at another table." My mother is in a wheelchair and wanted to see the lights from the marina. When I told my wife we might have chosen the wrong restaurant, the waitress put the chair down she was removing from the table and said, "Oh OK and took our menus away and went to help someone else. So we decided to leave. we went to Puerto Vallarta restaurant. now they know how to treat a customer and wonderful seafood.

While eating dinner a black and white cat was walking from kitchen to dinning area. When I told waitress Marlene about cat and questioned why it was in the restaurant she was like it’s always here, it’s the neighbors and casually got the cat from under neither our dinner table and took it out of the dining room. She acted like it was nothing and continued to serve food normally. When I mentioned it was not up to Oregon health code she dismissed my comment and continued to serve dinner to other customers. Will be reporting to Oregon Health department. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! It is very unsanitary and disgusting to eat at a restaurant that has cats in it!!!!!
We ordered the 3 piece fish and chips. We recieved like 8 pieces of small fish in each basket, the fish itself was very thin with a ton of breading. The clam chowder tastes like it’s fresh out of a can. There is a cat that stays right outside the door and meows non stop while trying to eat. The calamari was extremely chewy. This place is right on the bay and the food all seems like it’s frozen or out of a can. The server wouldn’t leave us alone and tried to talk to us while we were eating without our interaction. The best thing about this meal was the French fries. The cocktail sauce tastes like straight ketchup with some lime juice and the tartar sauce was almost sour. I would recommend going somewhere else if you are looking for some good food or even fresh fish and chips. Even tho the French fries were the best part they are also frozen. I would expect a good chip to be made in house. 1 star is to much but it makes me give something.

"Fresh Crab Sandwich" was "only" served on a Hoagie Roll, was full of finely shredded lettuce, too much mayo, and only 4 TINY pieces of small crab legs. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! The greenhouse extensions on the building look nice, but there is no ventilation. There are no fans, and it is really hot.

Ordered fish & chips. The fish was mushy & slimy. They offered to prepare another dish, but it was the same. Possibly horrible process of thawing. Once we let the waitress know she got a really bad attitude. We had a party of 8 or 9. Before we were even ready to leave they came & moved all of our dishes onto one of our other tables, because they needed the end table for another party. Very unprofessional & they did not offer any type of refund or discount for the 2 of us that got bad fish. To add to the slap in the face they brought us a small plate of a different fish that would have been a better replacement for the meal (likely halibut). May have just been the type of fish we received, but overall a really bad experience.
