Oswego Grill - Clackamas

My friend and I decided to come and have happy hour and we ordered california roll the wagu beef sliders the cod tacos and the fishermens stew. I enjoyed the sliders very much. The california roll had more rice than filling but, the crab meat, avocado and cucumber had good flavor but the quantity was very small. the cod tacos didn't say it was blackened with spices that were a little more than my taste buds could handle. the fishermens stew was very flavorfull and had well cooked fish and seafood. I would not recommend the california roll because of the amount of rice.

1st time here and it's fabulous. Service is 10/10 and food is 11/10. Fairly priced too

Food was great, but the service was less than stellar. We sat at a table for about 10 minutes before I flagged down the manager for water. Apparently there was a miscommunication in the serving team and we weren't assigned a waiter. Once we got that corrected, our server was very good to make up for it.

I placed a pick-up order for food today and always enjoy the good meals here. However, I was upset when I requested an itemized receipt after receiving my order. The staff member looked at me as if I didn’t know what I was talking about. I explained that an itemized receipt includes the food items I ordered along with their prices, but he insisted that they don’t provide that kind of receipt.

Although English is not my first language, I understand what an itemized receipt is. Instead of seeking help from a colleague, he continued to insist they couldn’t provide it. I waited for the manager for about 15 minutes, but they didn’t come, probably because they were busy. I then approached another staff member, who quickly produced the itemized receipt in seconds.

If you’re unsure about something, it’s better to ask a supervisor or a colleague instead of pretending to know what you’re doing, as it can be very frustrating for customers. I feel that the staff member who I first spoke with did not deserve the more than 20% tip I gave!

The app was artichokes: late- right before the main and tough. The New York was good. The 2 tenderloins were the toughest we've ever had- it was a struggle with the steak knife(med rare). We went there because we had a great experience at Wilsonville location. Night and day difference.

Our server was great! Never had to ask for anything. The apps were great. My fried chicken was very dry and over cooked. Everything else was good. My son really enjoyed the BBQ cheeseburger.

The menu has a few additional items since my last visit. The salmon bowls are particularly interesting. It is very busy at lunch time so try to arrive at 11am when they open.

Need an adult atmosphere to shift your day- decompress. Oswego Grill is it! Service and food is impeccable. I've visited several locations and their serving times, drinks and food options are consistent. It would be great to have a smaller version in Salem. I bring my out of town guests to this location every time.

five stars for nice prices and nice options and honestly, one of the nicest waitresses ever. She is so sweet and so kind. Happiness changes atmosphere just like good food!
