Only giving it a four star because our first time in was a hair in it but they were quick to replace it an iv been back many times since with no hair. I really like the place. But if they did some desserts I'd def work my up to giving them 5 stars

They said they had no vegetable broth and had “sold out yesterday.” The server offered me three things with beef broth in it and didn’t seem to understand I did not want beef broth. I eventually got the fried rice without egg, which was good but it is just a basic white rice with carrots, tofu, peas, and garlic so not really the same kind of meal as the pho I wanted. We also got the veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce, which were good. Overall, the food is pretty good but I wouldn’t expect much in terms of vegan options. I wasn’t confident that the server knew what I was talking about so it’s not really much better than a normal restaurant.

Wow, really top notch food. I’d drive 30 min to eat here.

Fantastic eggrolls, not the crappy kind but the real deal. Flavorful, crispy, and rich.

Convenient and comforting at times, but hit or miss on quality.

Updated to 2/5 stars from 1/5 stars 10 months ago only because our daughter requested their phở during their post-surgery recovery this week and genuinely enjoyed it. We did takeout three times in the last six days, and my daughter said the leftover phớ still tasted good after two days. That kind of comfort food earns some grace!

That said, the overall experience has been inconsistent.

They're stingy with limes, even when I specifically asked for extra. If you're a lime lover, be ready to ration.

I did enjoy their egg rolls. They made with shredded taro as part of the filling, just like my grandma used to make, and seasoned well. One of the few bright spots on the menu.

The combo vermicelli/bún đặc biệt was a letdown: over-grilled shrimp, and the grilled pork was thin and chewy. Just not satisfying.

Today I came in for lunch and ordered the Bánh Xèo ($17.95), and it was a big disappointment. It was thick, soggy, and greasy, with zero crispness, nothing like the light, crunchy texture of Bánh Xeo.
No mung beans which is signature
Southern Vietnam style, and they added mushrooms, which felt like a Western twist. The filling included bean sprouts, shrimp, and BBQ pork (instead of traditional steamed pork).

At least they were generous with lettuce and herbs, so I repurposed the filling into my own version of spring rolls since the Bánh Xèo itself was a flop. Check the photos on Yelp you'll see what I mean.

I'm torn about this place. It's only a 15-minute walk from my home, and l've given them multiple chances. Still the quality doesn't justify the convenience, I'd rather drive a little further for food that hits the mark.
Happy to see their business doing well.
It's their second location and they're in a prime spot right across from Kaiser Permanente Hospital and Medical Center. I just wish the food matched the potential of the location.

P.Y. Provides toilet seat covers in gender-labeled restrooms.

Pho Sen 2 has become our new go-to spot for pho in the Clackamas area. The portions are generous and the prices are good for how much you get. Lots of meat and delicious broth are a constant no matter what you order on the menu. My partner can be picky at times and always enjoys what he orders, and that is a feat! Service is fast and friendly every time, even when they are busy. We can’t wait to stop in again for our next bowl of pho!

Genuinely one of the best bowls of mì hoành thánh I’ve had in Portland! We came at 3:30pm so no one else was dining in but the service was quick and friendly, and the servings were extremely generous. I’ll try their bánh mì next time!

I tried to order by phone, and they hung up on me twice. I imagine they don't want my money.
