Food was decent for a taproom, the cider was excellent.

Beyond sad that a good cidery doesn't have a gluten free taproom! Lame

Might as well make beer and makes me not want to drink your cider. I'll drink Schilling instead!

We figured this was a must go to cider taproom for the Portland area. We’ve seen their ciders in liquor stores all over the country and by the name I would assume it’s the flagship of the city. The taproom did not disappoint. They had a large selection of their own ciders and a few guests cider and beers as well as a couple cider cocktails. We got a flight and tried a couple of their cider cocktails, all of which were delicious. My girlfriend got a seasonal pumpkin chai spice cocktail that came with a souvenir glass, which was awesome since we love collecting glasses from our favorite taprooms. We got the pretzel and cider cheese, which was delicious. It was our second favorite “beer” cheese (behind 19 Acres’s cider cheese). The service was a bit iffy though, there were 3 employees. One of which did a good job all around interacting with guests and serving good drinks, one was a guy that seemed to be in training so was a bit timid to go out on his own, and one was a larger female that was absolutely terrible. She would greet and setup every single table, then never come back. We watched as every single group waited 10+ minutes for her to come back, but she never did. She spent the entire time talking to two regulars at the bar and giving them what seemed like a dozen free tasters. Overall though, this is an awesome place that I’ll definitely go back to… I just hope that bartender isn’t there.

Succulent ciders and chill vibes with just enough snark to keep it interesting. Their flights bring flavor fireworks, and the taproom is perfect for sipping your way through the weird apple journey. The crowd can swarm and seats fill fast.

We brought our soft wash class participants to Portland Cider Company and had an amazing experience from start to finish! The food was fantastic, the prices were super reasonable, and the service was absolutely top-notch — friendly, fast, and welcoming.
This place was the perfect addition to our already incredible class. Everyone left full, happy, and impressed. Thank you to the whole team for making our visit so memorable. Highly recommend for groups, casual meetups, or just a great time out. We'll definitely be back!

All the drinks were great! Definitely come here to try the Ciders and fun cocktails.

The food was about 50/50 from our group. The loaded mac n cheese was delicious. The burger was good. The ribs were unfortunately very dry and over done (or sat out and we're reheated). The pretzel and fondue tasted like the canned cheese or velveeta and the pretzel was pretty dense and hardly salted.

Overall, I'd go here to get tasters and cider, but the rlset up is more like a restaurant which I think misses the mark for being more cider/beverage focused. I wish it felt more like a bar.

The tables were very close together with more chairs at each than what actually fit at the them so we sat in every other chair 😅
