Always a good experience. The food is always hot and fresh. Service is polite and quick. We eat at this restaurant once a week, usually for lunch, and we always have a great meal and feel very welcome.

Fast. Tasty. Clean. Great service. What more could you want? Huge portions!

I had my first dining experience at Wan Lung on 5/24/25. Their food is amazing! Portions are generous and reasonably priced.
I was their with my daughter, and we ordered the Combination Appetizer, Mongolian Beef, Pork Fried Rice, and Mu Shu Pork with everything to share.
Everything was delicious. I have never before had such tender pork in Pork Fried Rice. This was also my first time trying Mu Shu Pork, and it is now one of my favorites 😍 .
The atmosphere is very casual, and I plan to come back as often as I can! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Typical American-Chinese food menu, fantastic flavors and quality for the price! They also have pretty plentiful portion sizes.

The only negative thing I can say about Wan Lung is that it ruined my expectations for eating American chinese food elsewhere. There is nobody else that does Kung Pao chicken like Wan Lung. Truly second to none. No green peppers, water chestnuts, or other random stuff; just straight poultry heaven. I have been coming here for over 20 years and nothing has changed: heaping portions, friendly staff, and the best damned Hot and Sour soup in the world.

This is American Chinese good. Most of it is very good. We ordered chow mein, spring rolls, won ton soup, ten ingredient fried rice, and pot stickers. It was just over $60.00. The pot stickers were not very good. The soup was great but the spring rolls were a bit oily.

👍👍For $16.75, this is definitely the place to come for a value! I had one of their Combo dishes that had both the vegetable lo-mein and BBQ fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, fried prawns (shrimp), and soup [I had the egg drop] and hot tea. Everything was super quick and hot. I liked how they put the S/s sauce down as a base on a separate plate and set the chicken on top of that so it wasn't soggy. Even the fried prawns were pretty large, so it wasn't just all batter caked up to make it look larger...that was mostly shrimp! I was able to get thru the soup, shrimp, some FR/lo-mein, and a third of S/S chicken before I had to throw in the towel🤣 It was just as good the next day too, as most Chinese food is 😉

We ordered Szechuan “beef” and it looked great. However, after tasting the “beef” I genuinely question whether or not it is actual real Beef from a cow. The “beef” was soggy and its texture was almost slimy. Was it horse? Was it dog? I honestly don’t know. If it was in fact “beef” then it was of the worst quality I’ve ever tasted. Not happy. BUYER BEWARE!

Great value and extensive options for the lunch menu. Probably best in portland. Food overall is catered to the american palate; somewhat bland and scratches the surface of actual Chinese food/flavors. It gets the job done and I know what I am getting into when I do order. I would prefer this over Panda Express given the large portions and the fried rice is definitely better here. Quick and speedy service whenever I order pick up around 10-15 mins. I would say that cajun grill at clackamas mall is a step up and has better flavor but doesn’t beat the portion size of this place and is roughly $2-3 cheaper than the mall. Kung pao chicken had not much flavor and no spice when biting into the peppers. The orange chicken is the highlight for me but once again kinda bland.

This is our go-to Chinese spot! Their portions are crazy good! The takeout people are always kind and great with kids.

So glad we gave them a second chance. Their food is delicious, location is one of the cleanest amongst other small family-owned Chinese restaurants, and such friendly customer service!

Once you walk-in, you have a clear and open view of the chefs cooking in the kitchen - and the food is served hot off the grill or wok! Doesn’t taste like pre-frozen food at all, their sauces were flavorful, at least from the standpoint of what we ordered.

Our order:
1. BBQ fried rice - small bowl
2. Egg flower soup - large (very clean tasting)
3. General tso chicken - À la carte (crispy with their special sauce)
4. Sweet and sour shrimp - À la carte (large crispy shrimps, and breading ratio was great)

Meal cost = $48 before tip
Mind you…. The portions of their entrees are HUGE

We had 15 people in our group and ordered family style - so a lot of different dishes....which are large servings. Wan Lung staff did a fantastic job accommodating us. The food was very tasty and the service was exceptional!! We will definitely return.
