I think a chain restaurant can get 5 stars. You can't hold it to the same standards as a steakhouse. What I got at this drive thru was: - clean well kept building - friendly employee - special order (no onions or cheese) made correctly - hot - immediately ready

I’ve been going to this restaurant for decades, and it’s always been good, never any poor quality food or service. And I may have written it up here years ago. But now I can’t ignore a new experience there. My wife had her usual junior baconator, but I craved a change and got sucked in by the banners espousing their new chicken tenders, “Tendy’s”. Wow! I’ve tried many of the other “nuggets”, but most are skimpy little buggers, nuggets indeed, and mostly batter. But the Tendys were not small, but rather long “tenders” of decent size. 3 of them were adequate, together with their sizeable combo and always tasty fries, multiple choice dips, and large soda. A 5-piece is available, but would’ve been too much. Wendy’s new tenders are moist and indeed tender, cooked precisely right, with just enough batter to add flavor and mildly crispy texture that only augments the juicy, excellent meat. I can’t speak to the other Wendy’s outlets, but the Clackamas one puts out a wonderful, satisfying new product, worth your time to try if in the area. We used to enjoy KFC chicken, but for several years the Sunnyside Road store has repeatedly let us down. I don’t know what they’ve done to their recipes, but their product the last few years is definitely not a salute to their past reputation. And their service is terrible. We don’t know how they stay in business, at least at that location. Conversely, the Wendy’s staff was superb, readily correcting an ordering error on my wife’s burger that was entirely my fault, supplying free, quickly, and with a sincere smile a whole new one. I recommend the Clackamas Wendy’s food in general, but with gusto their new “Tendys”. Give them a try.

Went to the drive-through ordered four Frosty’s and two sandwiches and one fry. They give me my Frostys and then tell me to go park up at the railing and then almost 10 minutes later I finally had to go inside and get the rest of my food after my Frosty’s were halfway melted. Any competent person would have at least waited until the rest of my food was ready to give me Frosty’s when it’s 80° outside 🥴🤡

Excellent service and the way the service was great.. the lady after me had her 98 year old dad with her and the younger ladies behind the counter told her the Wendy's stories about how they really go out of there way to treat elderly people well it was 😎 cool.. good looking out

I got an egg sausage Swiss croissant abs it had no flavor literally was block of filler food. Do not eat at this place. Dave is rolling over in his grave

Literally never seems to be open, it's 7:30 pm on a Saturday. It's like a running joke about this Wendy's, every time we stop in the evening/dinner time, it's closed. Has been a reoccurring thing for years now.

Placed an order using the app. Selected carry out and when I got to the restaurant. The doors were locked. There was another gentleman that was also trying to get in. On our way back to our cars. A family of six headed in. We told them the doors were locked. Seems you just lost a bit of business. I do like this location for breakfast. The crew must be better, I dunno. I do expect a refund since we didn’t get our food. Thanks.
