Excellent food and value on the 3 meat plate. Ribs were my favorite. Sassy cornbread was spicier than expected and delicious.
Pete’s Meats is the best quality and the best bang for the buck. The barbecue is great and the prices are fair. The brisket is the best in town and the sauce tastes great. A chicken and sausage plate with mac and cheese, sausage and ribs with mashed potatoes and potato salad are offered. The sides include sassy cornbread with a pleasant kick. The chef is kind and proactive, the atmosphere at the Public House is hard to beat, and the spices in the sausage are phenomenal.
