Delicious food, with gluten free options for the celiacs in our family. My wife and son had the GF salmon and it was delicious. I had the braised pork shank (not GF) and it literally fell off the bone—fantastic flavor as well!
Down side—not sure who manages the parking, but those peeps desperately need some HR training.
Word to the wise. Get the recreation.gov parking pass for $2, park directly off the interstate 84 exit, and walk the 100 feet to the lodge and falls view. Avoid the state route 30 parking disaster. Found out the difficult way that the parking pass only applies to the I84 exit parking.

You can hear the waterfall while enjoying amazing food and service! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place to eat with views of the falls. We booked this in case it was a bad weather day when we came through. It was a gorgeous day so even better. We ended up being there an hour before our reservation from a fluke where we were the night before. They accomodated us quite nicely even though we were willing to wait. We even got a seat right by the window to watch the falls.

The Brussels sprouts were pretty good, the rest was average. The view was spectacular! They also have a little snack shack around the corner if you are looking for something quick.

Been here a few times and I've always been impressed by the flavors they put together.
Great view, surprisingly reasonable prices for a menu full of good things, and it's great before or after the hike just around the corner.
Highly recommend.

Most obviously just good meal and not over priced. Amazed they could have charged more.

Got a take out order since we had our dogs in the car. Picked up the order went back to truck then saw we are missing the desserts went back in picked it up, got to our destination and we are also missing the bread we ordered. The prime rib looked almost raw and the portions are crazy.

Discusting.

Service : Bad and ignored. When my sister and I arrived we waited in front of the server who was doing something else several minutes before they even paid attention to us. Normally a server would say something like “be with you in just a moment” but no nothing just ignored for several minutes. Next when they finally paid attention to us they sat us in a booth by the wall away from the window view. We wanted the nice view and asked to be moved, they agreed but rolled their eyes at us and seemed bothered that we asked to be moved away from the corner to the window view. Once at the window view we got started the server arrived and we asked him what did he recommend to eat. He shrugged his shoulders and said I don’t know.

Food: The food was cold when it arrived. The hamburger bun felt old, was dry and stale very disappointing. The overall taste of the food was bland. The vegetables and lettuce felt sad and was like it was premade the day before and left out overnight.

Cleanliness: The place was super dirty and it is disgusting, it’s not enjoyable to eat in a dirty place. The dirtiness of the table area makes you second guess the hygiene of the kitchen area. If this is what I can see imagine how they treat what I cannot see.

Scenery : Very pretty 10 out of 10

A great suprise is the middle of nowhere. This is the kind of place that could hold you hostage with mediocre food and high prices because it's the only game in town HOWEVER it was excellent and reasonably priced for the quality. Salmon & eggs. Bacon and eggs. Stuffed hash browns. All were very good. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing.

With a view of a six hundred foot waterfall from the dining room you can't go wrong here. The smoked salmon chowder was rich and smokey. Not Tobe missed. The service was classic the atmosphere very special. Remember your reservation lest you miss out.

Best breakfast burrito OF MY LIFE. Oh my goodness gracious, scrumptious doesn't even begin to cover it. The waffles were fine (and the added blueberries tasted a little funky) but any and all flaws were overshadowed by the sheer delight bestowed upon my taste buds by the Benson Breakfast Burrito. 10/10 would order again. ???
Also the lodge and falls were GORGEOUS!!!

We decided on the lodge for an early dinner, for the novelty of the location as much as anything, and were both very pleased with the experience. Not only was the food quite good, but our server was top-notch with a charming personality.
Highly recommend the braised pork as well as the fish and chips. The cocktails were well made, and the apple cheesecake for dessert was lovely as well.

Great restaurant in a wonderful spot. There’s no many options to dine in the area and this place is just perfect to recharge after waking around and seeing the waterfalls. The restaurant building is astonishing with a lot of windows and a great atmosphere, from one of the rooms you can even see the waterfall. We ordered a trail burger, a rainbow trout, a chocolate cake and a crème brûlée. The burger was juicy and the fries tasty and crunchy, the fish was really fresh with a side of pilaf rice, desserts where also nice and tasty. The portions where abundant and the service was quick and servers friendly. They offer crayons and kids menu with activities to keep little one busy while waiting. Bathroom clean.
