Top notch eatery in a historic setting. We had lunch before hiking up to the top of the falls. The soup bread bowl and the grilled salmon sandwich were terrific. Creme brulee for dessert topped it off! 🤗 Great staff, and didn't have to wait long. Reasonable pricing for lunch items too!

Pretty subpar dining experience for the price. We got the rainbow trout and burger. Everything felt extremely bland and the service wasn't that great either. Plus there's a $20 cover for parking.

I'm very surprised by the high marks from others, our experience seemed typical.

We took a detour on our way from Portland to Seattle so we could see the falls. When we got there it was raining, the wind was blowing hard and it was cold. My wife saw the falls from the parking lot and said, Good, we don't even have to get out of the car. LOL. Once we got through the tunnel the wind was a lot less. We walked up to the observation point and it was beautiful. We hung out there for a while and took pictures. We were short on time so we didn’t walk up any farther. The place is great! Paved paths everywhere, a concession stand, gift shop, and clean restrooms. We bought a package of almonds for $6.75, which turned out to be a cluster of chopped nuts with a candy coating. We didn't go in the lodge. All in all it was worth the detour.

Hard to beat the specialness of Multnomah Falls AND that we could have a nice lunch there at The Multnomah Falls Lodge WITH a view of the falls. Our server, Brenny, certainly helped to ensure our experience was a special one.

We were seated by Karlee with picture-window viewing of the Falls, and have to Say, the ala-mode pie dessert made us forget incredible the view for a minute!

Lodge is OK, but DON'T USE THEIR PARKING LOT. You'll get fleeced for $20. Better use the public rest area just across 30 and accessible via a tunnel.

Had lunch and hike to the top of Multnomah high recommend both. The lodge interior is classic style with rock and wood with good window views of the falls and surrounding nature. The river above the falls is also worth exploring.

Food was delicious. My server was professional and kind and the atmosphere was great. The view from our table was absolutely beautiful and there wasn't a thing I would change about it.

Multnomah Falls Lodge is one of those places that feels straight out of another era. The stone lodge was built in the early 1900s, and you can feel that history the second you walk in. The dining area has tall walls of windows and a ceiling lined with glass, giving you incredible views of the waterfall and surrounding nature while you eat. It makes the whole place feel bright, open, and completely tied to the scenery outside.

Inside, you’ll find crackling fireplaces, huge ceilings, and amazing photos from the early 1900s showing local waterfalls and historic moments from the gorge. It’s cozy, grand, and historic all at the same time—and surprisingly affordable for such a beautiful, tourist-heavy spot.

Whether you’re warming up after the hike or just stopping in to take in the atmosphere, the lodge adds something really special to the whole Multnomah Falls experience. Highly recommend stepping inside and soaking it all in.
