A delightful walk-up coffee shop, immaculate and organized. There are so many good things to say about the customer service, how quickly they serve , and the quality of the food and drinks. The chicken chorizo breakfast burrito is absolutely delicious, and their marionberry danish was warm and perfect. This has become a family favorite for a quick breakfast on weekend mornings.
Super cute lil coffee stop! The man serving me was so kind and offered good suggestions to give me the best drink I could find! I drink a sip and knew I’d be coming back!

I love this little coffee shop. Whenever I have the time I try to make a stop there. The coffee is sooo good and they have a bunch of goodies: tamales, pastries, burritos. I ordered some berry danish pastries and two boxes of coffee for my kids birthday and everyone asked me where I bought them from. The owner is super friendly and easy to connect with and I think that matters. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options: Not a lot of veggie options, but that’s fine for a small shop! Their veggie breakfast burrito is delicious!
I went to Universal Coffee 3 times during my weekend trip to Portland. The service was excellent, friendly and timely. The espresso drinks were high quality and the burritos were scrumptious. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!

The coffee was good, even though I misspoke my order, and there were a bunch of cute outdoor tables you can sit at if you'd like. The service was great, fast, and the coffee and food were piping hot when served. I wish I lived in the area purely so I could come here every morning.

I swung by to get a coconut milk latte for a friend (not a lot of places have coconut milk!) and decided on a champurrado for myself. I hadn't had one before, and the person at the window very kindly and generously talked with me about how it was different and what to expect. It was amazing. Highly recommend the champurrado, hot, delicious. The burrito was also so tasty. Fluffy soft tortilla and green chilies - yum! I will be coming back.
I ordered a soy milk latte and was honestly blown away. Way better than other to-go coffee in the area like Black Rock or Coffee Rush and rivals the bougie coffee you might find around the Portland Metro.
