Ordered the prime rib with some grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, and french onion soup. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent. The very friendly server provided excellent service. For those in the La Grande region from out of the area, do yourself a favor and take the little extra time to visit Cove and try this gem.

We have always heard people raving about the food here and decided to give it a shot. We drove an hour and a half to make it to this restaurant, and would gladly do it again.The staff were so wonderful. Super friendly, very attentive and educated. The food seems a bit pricey for the location, but you quickly understand why. Every meal we saw going to other tables looked amazing and the ones that came to ours were just as photogenic. All of the food that my husband and I ordered came exactly as ordered and tasted delicious. I will be recommending my friends and family to this steakhouse without a doubt.Thank you for the exceptional service and wonderful food.
Never got our dinner service was extremely bad!! Server walk past our dinner several times while it was setting getting cold we walked out. Before we ordered our server was very bad not good at

Wasn't a bad meal, drinks were very overpriced. Everything had herb butter on it... overly strong garlic (would ask for it without if I went again). The people in our group that ordered steaks were pretty disappointed, they were fatty and super thin (also over cooked compared to what was ordered). People in the group that ordered burgers said they weren't bad but also overcooked and dry. I had the pulled pork, it was good. Slaw was more carrots than cabbage. Jalapeño cornbread was excellent though. Might go again if I was in cove for another reason but wouldn't make the drive to eat there.

Amazing atmosphere and adorable restaurant with a hoppin bar! Food was AMAZING & Service outstanding!!!! We brought the kiddos after the pumpkin patch s few miles away. They have live music on the weekends with prime rib Friday & Saturday nights. Definitely will come back again!
I stopped her for dinner while passing through the area. The steak was amazing, it came with all the fixings and a shrimp cocktail. Ill definitely eat here again if im in the area.

Had a prime rib sandwich with a really big bun and no meat! There is a food truck in lagrande that sells a cheese steak for 15$ and has more meat than 5 cove steak house sandwiches (and I don't have to drive across the valley) save the gas and your money!
