Driving down I-5 and stopped in to see what the buzz is about. Small bakery with an order counter and some indoor and outdoor seating. A crowd was there, but I moved thru the line and left with my choices in less than 5 minutes. I orderd a tart and once of the rolls they are known for. Both were excellent products. They have a cold case for grab-n-go (sandwiches). They also offer savory hand pies, beautiful loaves of bread, danishes and nice looking meat & cheese croissants...
A full-figured, grumpy man was helping customers for the first time during my several visits over the years. He was no-nonsense, no smile, efficient. The women are much friendlier. They make customers feel appreciated as individuals. Maybe the guy wasn't supposed to be working the counter.
Excellent food... wasn't sure what to order and the lady at ther register said she likes bacon, egg and cheese on ciabatta with spicy aioli. Delicious and absolutely the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had.
