Heard but never been here until today! Pumpkin Pancakes with pumpkin butter and whip cream was wonderful! Loved the gravy also!! YUM! I was under whelmed with the chicken fried steak and the biscuit wasn't the consistency I prefer. Service was great!!! Come try Tater's if your interested the neighborhood!

Tater’s Cafe was the first restaurant I was taken to when I moved to Dallas. The food was so good and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The best part is that they serve breakfast up until close at 3pm. And I love my breakfast! You have to go to Tater’s if you come through Dallas!
This is a small cafe that serves good food. The portions are large but there is a kids menu and a senior menu. We had breakfast. The bacon was delicious, nice and thick and cooked through so it wasn't limpy. Good biscuits too! A good sausage gravy as well. We will be back.

Showed up on a non busy Friday with my wife, 3 year old and 2 year old. Ordered our food and waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food. Had to ask multiple times for my water refill. Highly dissatisfied. Never dining in here again.
