One of the worst Steaks ive ordered in a long time. I told the waitress medium rare and come to me well done. Steak sat on the edge of our table for more then 15 minutes. Our waitress was behind bar and noted my dinner just setting but finely had to call her over by that time my party had finished and was ready to leave.Told her to take it off my bill. She offered to put it to go but I came there for my dinner. Sad

We ordered breakfast and coffee and tea,we literally had to ask for coffee over 25 minutes, it was not busy, and waitress just kept talking at a table. Then our food never came over a half hour,so we asked about it,we'll they gave our order to someone else, really horrible experience, then we had to ask for boxes and bill, literally had to get up go to bar to get coffee, ask about food and boxes.just unbelievable, we have had great service in the evening s,when busy.there is no excuse for this experience ever.

We eat in the dining room at Washington Street frequently and are never disappointed with the prompt service or our meals. They have a reward program that we have joined, but it does not influence our choice.

Had a wonderful lunch, good food, good service, and very clean. Highly recommended, we will return.

The waitress wasn't overly friendly. The steak was dry. Had to wait 20minited for out bill due to the fact the waitresses to busy talking to the people who come in there on a regular basis.

I was going to leave a more detailed review. But what's the point? All I can say is after receiving the revised portion size for to go orders, yet paying the same full price for HALF the food, you won't see me in there again. And, funny thing, I was wondering why they insisted I pay over the phone this time when they never have before... Now I know why, they know people won't like what they get. I used to get to go from there every weekend both days, not now.

The first part of this review was written before I actually bit into my food. After taking a couple bites I noticed they gave me unsafe, undercooked, hamburger.

Disrespects Veterans. Overpriced food, and overcooked beef is a crime.

Nasty, bad smelling dining room which badly needs decent ventilation; calibrated CO2 meter read 1750 ppm, absurdly high. Weak drinks, and a medium rare NY trip was well done, server refused to take back. At least they got the baked potato right.

It appears that either the owner or an employee has little respect for veterans, as shown by Laura Hoefler placing a smile emoji on an online article about a Veterans Protest in Salem. If you support and honor American veterans—some of whom made the ultimate sacrifice—I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I won’t return. The food was ok but the environment didn’t feel welcoming. I went with a girlfriend and it just seemed weird how we both felt treated. 😞
