I stopped by after googling Bloody Marys near me. I am so happy this is what showed up. I wasn’t going to eat but once we walked in food smelled delicious so I sat down to eat. I’m a big clam chowder person I enjoyed the bacon in it very delicious and creamy. The servings are big and flavorful. I got the chicken fried steak with gravy!! Very flavorful and very big! Prices are fair which is a plus. I also did try their spicy Bloody Mary it was delicious.

Stopped for a quick lunch on the way to the coast. It was Friday so course had to try their housemaid clam chowder which was delicious. Simple half sandwich with fries all amazing. Drinks were good too.

Came here for breakfast and first impressions walking in, it felt inviting and looked like a fun place. But we walked in and waited about 15 minutes to be seated without one person acknowledging us, no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. It was only when we decided to leave, that someone said they were just about to seat us. Well how would we have known since no one ever spoke to us. We decided to stay at that point and I will say, the food was good. It did however take quite a while for the waitress to take our order. Overall I’d give this place 2 stars. Next time at least acknowledge customers and don’t ignore them. Won’t be back.

Great restaurant family oriented plenty of parking it's a little bit crowded but it's worth the wait pricing is a little bit up there but well worth it for the quality the booze is expensive usually don't drink there all around a good restaurant a well-known restaurant but Shelly's across the street is better
Love me some Carvers. I will never forget that they stayed open during covid. Food is amazing and portions are great. Don't have to spend 100$ to get full.

So the only reason for the 4 stars is it was our first time here and I just had the chicken strips and shrimp which were delicious. We will definitely be back and try out some other items on the menu. Everything was great from service to the price of the food.
