I'm no expert on Vietnamese food. But I did travel to the country and I really enjoyed the Pho here. Very clean, quiet and great service. The employees are courteous and made me feel good about how I like my order done. We have gone here 4 times now and each time it has been spot on. Thank you for the the Great service and food.

This is an overall review of my frequent visits since my first visit at the end of October 2023. If you are local, live within an hour's drive, or plan a trip in the Portland Metro area, call ahead for the Weekend Specials (Friday through Sunday).Since I live nearby, I have called and checked the weekend specials every week. I only came when there were new items on rotation I wanted to eat. Their website listed five items under the Weekend Specials tab, but there were two weeks when the soups they offered did not match those listed: Mi Vit Tiem and Hu Tieu/Mi Nam Vang. I did not care much about Mi Vit Tiem, but I LOVED the Hu Tieu/Mi Nam Vang. Please read my previous five stars dedicated specifically to Hu Tieu/Mi Nam Vang. Hu Tieu/Mi Nam Vang remains my only favorite item at Pho Bar. I would come and eat this every time they offered it. I wish this would be on their permanent menu someday!Viet Udon with real crap meat | Bánh Canh Cua: this has been on the weekly weekend specials since I started supporting Pho Bar, and usually one other item. There were two beside Bánh Canh Cua when I called and came in this Friday, 12/15/23: Vermicelli crab noodles soup | Bún Riêu Cua, which I have been waiting for since it is one of my favorites, and Vermicelli crab noodles.I recommend Hu Tieu/Mi Nam Vang and Bún Riêu Cua whenever they have them on the Weekend Specials. The main reason is all the ingredients they use are fresh, down to the liver pork for Hu Tieu/Mi Nam Vang, real crab cake, chả ốc with a stick of fresh lemongrass inside, fresh fried tofu, and freshly made with the perfect texture of pork blood. None of these items are previously frozen; you can taste their freshness at first bite. Though I liked all the toppings on my Bún Riêu Cua on Friday, the broth was not steaming hot, so I could not mix and enjoy the vegetables that came with it. The broth flavor of this tomato soup base was 3/5. Vermicelli tom-yum noodle soup | Bún Thái Tom-yum has not been on the Weekend Specials since I started following Pho Bar.For Pho Bar's regular menu, Bò Kho with Bánh Mì is what I would get and recommend for 4/5 quality and taste, or you can request it with Hu Tieu or Mi substitution. Again, please read my previous review on specific items. The hot and delicious jasmine tea is complementary. The condiments are well stocked at each table. The place is clean and well-kept. Pho Bar is family-own, and I learned during my first visit that Ba Ngoai (maternal grandmother is the master behind all their recipe). Here are a few constructive feedbacks I would share after my loyal support for Pho Bar the last two months:-The noodles for all the soups are too much for the bowl size that comes with it, so the broth gets colder quickly and does not give enough time or space to mix and enjoy the side of the bowl of fresh vegetable and mint along with it.-I appreciate that the staff left me alone to enjoy my food without rushing me out the door after the food was on my table. It would be nice to check back at least once to refill the hot tea or water instead of waiting for us to ask for it.

Lobster Hot Pot is very good. The soup is awesome. The dipping sauce is excellent. I will come back again!

The service was great, the place was clean, the condiments were stocked, and food came out fast.3 stars because flavors are lacking and it was expensive. The pho had very little meat and the broth was kinda cloudy, like starchy from the noodles. The sizzling beef steak platter was too gravy-ish. Other pics online look better, mine was smothered and didn't like the wet dog food texture.

I did not think there would be a good Vietnamese spot so deep into Clackamas, but this was an amazing find! The restaurant is pretty spacious inside with high ceilings, and is very clean and open. Service is always very fast here and the servers are kind. What I was so surprised about were there (in my eyes) innovative dishes that I've never seen before, yet they still kept true to Vietnamese cuisine and were delicious. Two dishes that stuck out to me were the pho rolls and special dry pho--which were both delicious. Their portions are generous and the quality is amazing. They have a pretty diverse menu, with vegetarian options too as well as a cocktail menu! Overall, I would definitely come back and try more!

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS ONE Let me tell you about this amazing place! The food quality is hard to beat anywhere in town, the atmosphere is posh, clean and such a good feel. I love that the owner has accommodated a few of my 15-20 parties with no problem, everyone got fed well and on time. Another point to add~ The owner and all the staff are so nice and treat you like family. The menu has items that you cannot find anywhere else. By far my favorite Pho spot in Portland & ClackamasP.S this place deserves all the top notch food credit!

We were going to dine at ta popular nearby restaurant but when my wife saw this Vietnamese restaurant she changed her mind. We weren’t sorry as having travelled around Europe for the last month we did miss Asian food. We both had seafood spring rolls, beef and chicken pho and shared a prawn fried rice. We struggled to finish our meal. The meals were delicious but it’s not table service. They call your number and you collect your meal. We were happy to have dined here.

They are do friendly! It was clean and the food was delicious! I specifically had a conversation with the waitress and they do not use MSG. That's something I always want to know. My eight year old loved it as well.
