The ladies are exceptional at the Damascus Safeway Bakery. They do an amazing job with their cakes. They decorate for me, write on them, and customize to my needs. My employees love their cakes. Thank you ladies!! You are awesome!!!

We really love the store and staff but have a problem with the staff not enforcing the one-way signs posted all over the floor. People constantly are squeezing past you going the wrong way-down the aisle. It's so bad at this point that the wife and I get two shopping carts and push them side-by-side because after we asked staff for help, we were told that they were unable to assist.

If you have a different shopping option DO NOT go to this location by no means at all. On August 15 I called the bakery to ask what time would they be open ‘til because a friend of mine preordered and purchased a cake for me for my birthday. Upon arriving at the store the bakery was closed but he had left my cake on the counter. As I was walking to the registers to inform the staff that the cake was pre purchased I was met with 4 different employees. The ASM Mr. Boga then beg

My friend went into Safeway to buy milk. When she walked in there were at least 50-75 corporate workers milling around. Not ONE person welcomed her. Or even looked her in the eyes. It wasn't until she reached the register that she finally saw a smile. Great customer service Safeway!
