It doesn't get any better than this! Cute little diner that really is a destination place to eat, although we discovered passing through. Service was great, selection excellent, ingredients fresh and plentiful. Local, delicious beef! Presented beautifully with large portions. I wish I had room to try some of their many pie flavors.

OMG, this is a gem of a find. If you're passing through Dayville and you catch the cafe open, you must stop in and try their chicken fried steak. I've had this plate at greasy spoon cafes and dinners across the west and this one is by far the best. The steak tasted great with the breading perfect, the gravy was thick and peppery, the Hashbrowns were perfect, and the eggs were fluffy. The toast tasted like homemade bread and jam.

I have to tell you that after 3 days in the Strawberry Mountains this was a nice taste of reality. The food was good and the service that day was awesome. We had a party of 9 and everyone enjoyed the meal.
