Dinner experience was much better than expected! Food was delicious, waiter was amazing and would definitely go back next time we are in town.
We went there for our anniversary. The service was excellent it the food was just good. Not amazing not horrible. Somewhere in the middle.
Under staffed or I'm not sure why it took us about 20 minutes to get check and then another 20,minutes for the charge card to come back. Brussel sprouts were great!
Brian was a terrific server! He guided us perfectly through our selection and we ended up with a generous delicious bowl of steamer clams, and a yummy side of Brussels sprouts!
Excellent food and great service. Outdoor eating was really nice because the weather was superb. Some annoying flies and parking is limited.
Food was excellent. Service was good but inconsistent. At first servers were all over us to help. Then they weren't present for a period. But it was fine. Ambiance was great too. It's a great spot and I try to go when I'm in Dundee
Beautiful space-online photos do not do it justice-great food and service-Jo our server was great ! Fabulous wine list-I highly recommend!
Excellent experience. Friendly casual dining. Minimalistic menu which was nice. Good wines. Great service
Menu options seemed to have changed from the last time we visited not many options. A little disappointed with the service. Wine list is excellent.
We have eaten here previously and it was good which is why we returned. The meal was disappointing. The heirloom tomatoes had been refrigerated which makes them lose their flavor. The special confit duck was dry and tasteless. The crispy Brussels sprouts were undercooked. We won't be eating there again.
From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by friendly people and a beautiful place. The food was incredible and the ambiance was also excellent. Highly recommend this place to all.
I ordered the grilled salmon. It was moist and tender but a little bit salty for my taste. The zucchini and carrot mix had a good light sauce. My husband ordered the Niciose salad. It was on a large plate, generous serving and tasted great! It was a bit noisy in the room but we could talk and hear each other fine. We enjoyed our dinner very much. I recommend this restaurant.
While the food was very tasty and the service was excellent, the menu choices really haven't changed much in a very, very long time. This meal is Saturday evening and there were no specials being prepared. Where is the chef's inspiration? My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant for for a decade and I have personally been coming here since they opened in 1999. Honestly, the spark is gone and the freshness of the menu just isn't there anymore. We'd love to see the menu changed up and for the Dundee Bistro to offer specials that aren't on the menu. We have always considered this place a special night out, but it doesn't feel special anymore.
Have always been a fan but this time our food and experience was very lackluster. Rosé was luke warm. All entrees very mediocre. On a Saturday evening they had plenty of availability. Hope they can turn it around.
I think they have a new chef. Their menu has changed. They don't do pizzas, can't grill onions for the French dip because they just didn't want to, not sure why when the restaurant was not busy at all- not too accommodating as they used to be. We had LOVED going there for lunch and dinner - it has changed! Not sure we'll be back any time soon. The service from our waiter was GREAT - the service from the kitchen not as great.
