First off, I must say that Monique is amazing! She did our tasting here and boy does she know her stuff. This was our first stop in the Willamette Wine Country in Oregon and ended up being our favorite. We were blown away at the vintage wines on the tasting menu. Where else can you taste 2005 year vintages on up?? Definitely haven’t found any in Virginia where we are from. You either buy it or you don’t. There is no sampling wines of that vintage. Needless to saw we bought 3 bottles here lol. The port style dessert wine is amazing! We also got a 2005 and a 2007 Pinot Noir to bring home. They also ship so it’s safe to say we will probably be ordering more! They’ve just recently (last couple of years) started selling so they have plenty of wine of all vintages. Highly recommend!

Amazing vineyard. Monique is a treat, and all of their wines are amazing. A must-stop in the Dundee area.

Beautiful vinyard, opened recently and never busy yet. Wine is really good and the sommeliers are all really nice. The view is gorgeous too. Totally recommend. A little gem.

We've done multiple wineries through Wine Maker Tours and Nysa Vineyard was one of his selections, over the top. Sophisticated, excellent value, some of terms that come to mind. Definitely requires a revisit.

I visited Nysa Vineyard during the 'Deck the Hills'' event weekend, and I was immediately welcomed to the cozy tasting room by Monique. Due to the AVA-wide event, Nysa was featuring a special flight of library verticals. While Nysa has about 20 acres planted, they only make a small amount of wines (less than 1000 cases annually) and age the wines for much longer than their peers. Latest release of estate Pinot Noir was 2015 and the reserve was 2012! Although the 2015 Pinot was tasting great now, what amazed me was really the 2005 Pinot, which was aged so beautifully and still kept everything in balance. I really enjoyed the tasting experience (~ an hour) at Nysa. Tasting fee of $35 was well worth it because of the delicious wines (and the bonus pours)! Highly recommend.

Nysa has been around, as in making wine, for many years. But not with a tasting room or onsite production. We got invited by Monique, upon her moving to Nysa, to come and taste these library wines. They're "library" because they're all aged. The youngest wine we tasted was 2015. Where any other Vineyard you travel to in the Willamette, you'll find 2019 Wines. Because of that, Nysa draws a high tasting fee. You're drinking exclusive wines. 100-200 cases. $60 and up bottles. So expect a $50 tasting fee because what you're drinking is worth it. This isn't your average Willamette Pinot. You're getting a punch. Flavor and boldness in some of these wines that matches a Cabernet or Bordeaux. Wines that aren't light and airy but BIG. Flavorful and layered. Full palate wine. These are the wines you bring out at special occasions. The wines you store and let age a bit more. The wine you use to impress people with. You won't find Nysa at the grocery store, or liquor store. You'll find it here. Nysa is the "rich land where Dionysus, the God of wine, lived." And it is not short on beauty, wine or complexity. I'm so excited that we got in prior to the "public" opening, but we will definitely be back to see everything in its full beauty. The tasting room and production facility will be finished soon and it's going to have a little rebranding to bring the label into the 2020's but rip the label off mentally and think of some excellent wine, a great view and a perfect Oregon day in the Willamette Valley and you're at Nysa. So go visit!
