I'm sitting in the restaurant as I'm writing this review. This is my husband's and my favorite place to eat. We've been to every other place in the valley and we always come back to this spot The food is always good. If there is a mistake they fix it immediately. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating, and the prices aren't through the roof. I will always come back to this place.
El Caporal is definitely a great example of the old adage “you can’t tell a book by its cover.” Driving up parking in a dirt lot with ruts and potholes you are accosted by a green building that appears to be painted by a crew in a hurry using whatever leftover paint on hand. Don’t worry go inside and a world of difference awaits you. Pleasing colors, plants, and decor immediately bring you into a comfortable place. The menu is much the same as small Mexican fare found...
I've yet to find something on their menu I didn't enjoy. The food is always delicious and the staff is always nice. I've gone many times now and never had an issue. Definitely one of, if not, my favorite Mexican food restaurants in the area.
